Default In USA Abortion is a "Political" Narrative

Each time a red state shuts down abortion clinics, their neighboring state gets flooded. Right wing media ignores it.

If Republicans were really sincere in their claim for God and the unborn, why then does their discussion begin and end with reactive procedures?
    Abortion is a reaction.

The day after pill is pro-active.
So it is ok for God's republicans...to premeditate murder - know ya' 'bout to fornicate...so get an abortion pill...but give it a humanitarian name like this: Birth control pill.

You are not controlling birth with a pill, You are a murdurer just like all you republicans accuse others of.

About half the patients at Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport, Louisiana, are now from Texas, up from about one-fifth before the law. At Little Rock Family Planning Services, in Arkansas, Texas patients make up 19% of the caseload now, compared with less than 2% in August.

The Big Republican Lie in the 1980s, 90s, & Y2K was they needed to get more Republican elected Supreme Court Justices to overturn Rowe vs Wade.

With one disclaimer they ignored (they already had a 5-4) majority. It was they who approved Rowe vs Wade, how then was the lie so easily told among practitioneers of christianity?

Roe v. Wade Was Decided By A Republican-Nominated Supreme Court

The vote on Roe vs. Wade was 7-2. Those justices supporting the case’s pro-choice outcome were as follows, including the president nominating each and the president’s party affiliation:

    Harry Blackmun (Nixon, R)
    Warren Burger (Nixon, R)
    William Douglas (FDR, D)
    William Brennan (Eisenhower, R)
    Potter Stewart (Eisenhower, R)
    Thurgood Marshall (LBJ, D)
    Lewis Powell (Nixon, R)
Those dissenting on Roe vs. Wade — only two – and both were not Republican-president-nominated to the Court:

    Byron White (Kennedy, D)
William Rehnquist (Nixon, R; chief justice under Reagan, R)
Nixon nominated four justices. Three concurred on Roe vs. Wade— arguably a decisive factor in the outcome of the case.

It is amazing every 4 years Republicans use Rowe vs Wade. It is against God. But when third world nations are brought up aka shithole countries, well why we send over missionaries to make them christians...lets also plant birth murder pills....but we will relabel to BIRTH CONTROL PILL...Sounds so humane!

Israel gave birth control to Ethiopian Jews without their consent

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...t-8468800.html

Israel has admitted for the first time that it has been giving Ethiopian Jewish immigrants birth-control injections, often without their knowledge or consent.

and each time in USA when the subject is brought up rightwing media goes str8 to the same playbook.
    Blame Planned Parenthood, Blame Democrats.

From 1960sish-1990 Blacks like myself who frowned upon Planned Parenthood, I was accused of being racist. All of us were.

Now the same people/group who accused blacks of being racist for calling out planned parenthood always being in our hood...well now that group says to us- WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? How can you let them abort your babies,....you know the ones we want to grow up to be incarcerated? Death penalties.

Everyblack man or woman who called out planned parenthood in the 1980s, 1990s...were all shunned called conspiracry theorists, reverse racists.
Well now that republicans want to make planned parenthood the boogeyman....well now we are supposed to accept the position we were once told to reject.

In 1967 abortion was not the great public issue that it is today. Reagan later admitted that abortion had been “a subject I’d never given much thought to.” Moreover, his aides were divided on the question.

What the above means to me is that
    1. Christians weren't making it a political issue
    2. Politicians weren't making it a Christian Issue

Why else would Ronnie state he hadn't given it much considerstion? Meaning those who helped him get elected KNEW there was no issue.

Side note- at that time- Nationalism was at it highest..Americans -the real ones..not us minorities..the real ones white common man, christians and business demographic were all under the Republican banner..aka unified.
according to many I can name.. if need be....

in the 1970s was when liberals would be called out as bad for America. They would become the boogeymen to keep the unity of Republicans under one banner;conservatism. as before the 1960s...aka 1950s...not a single president ran on being a conservative...that came post 1960s... so who were the bad folk pre-liberals?
1st it was socialists, then communists, then liberals who became all of them rolled into one.

So in 1967...Russia was the big bad boogeyman....not liberals....yet.
That bares witness as to why Reagan paid little attention. & Why christians KNEW of abortion for decades--- but NEVER called it a liberal issue.

What happened that it was never called demonic, evil, satanic? It (abortion) was once accepted, then when rejected it was labeled liberal. Who are liberals? Democrats.

Last- when Reagan signed it- Republicans said it was ok, because he was a democrat when he signed it...but wait....most Republicans in the south today- their parents were democrats!!!!

They swtiched parties in the 1960s when Democrats passed Civil Rights Act, Passed Voting rights act.
That is right to the WORLD!~!
The very Democrats painted as racists in the 1960s and previous...Have been bible evangelical christians 1960s and on...my point is this- Reagan & The Therapeutic Abortion Act became law by means of the medical community dealing with it.
IT WAS NOT A MORAL ISSUE THEN.
    It became one.

It wasn't even a big issue with Evangelicals back in the day. It only became a big issue when the Moral Majority and that lot found out it had fundraising potential then the whole Christian industrial complex jumped on the bandwagon.

Amazing. You are on the other side of the planet and have more knowledge on the moral majority then the children of those who began it.

I agree. I initially learned of it from one of the ministers who attended those moral majority meetings then he left when he stated he saw politics coming into the fray and a desire to eliminate the racial issue at Bob Jones...no dating those kind.

    His name is Randal Balmer

Professor Balmer didn't state it was about fundraising- which I am sure if may have. They were assuring that each demographic within the party would remain unified. Where nationality (against Russian & Spudnik) unified them -- they would find a new enemy within- The Liberal. That was His take from the religious side & David Brock - on the political side stated the same--or back when he was a Republican before he became a Democrat

It's always about money with these fuckers. How the Moral Majority ended up: a real estate hedge fund with charitable (no tax to be paid) status.
