Fowler power in the 3rd round hurt Smith and opening that cut up further.

Smith wins a quieter 6th round getting inside and landing the effective punches.

Thinkk Fowler nicks the 7th round being busier and Smith too slow.

Smith stops Fowler in the 8th with a left hook to body and head. The quality pressure of Liam Smith was too much for Fowler.

Good fight. Difficult watch because I couldn't figure out which one I dislike more. Fowler has always seemed like a right gobshite and Liam Smith has this misplaced air of superiority. OK might not be misplaced at Brit Euro plodder level. But that's it. Paul Smith is definitely doing Halloween this year as Naz.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Watch the under card fight between Troy Williamson v Ted Cheeseman for the British super-welterweight title.

It is an absolute savage war, even better than Fury v Wilder 3.

It is up there with Macklin v Moore as a domestic battle.
