Honest question...what has happened to Mikey . A fighter who went from the edge of main stream stardom and daring to be great going after Spence to now literal obscurity. Basically went for the mega money and turned down Regis Prograis. Fights tomorrow night on Dazn in a CW v Sando Martin out of Spain and have heard zero about it and not even sure if he's headlining the card. Main event (?) has Lt. Flyweight champ Elwin Soto 19-1 making his 4th defense v Puerto Ricos Jonathan Gonzalez 24-3-1.

Mikey Garcia was so good to watch and hugely talented. He took the impossible option of jumping weight and taking on Spence. He has wasted away his career when he should be one of the outstanding stars.

Just glad he is back and being busy.

Elwin Soto in a bit of a hole going into the 8th round. Gonzalez doing a solid job of hitting and moving with Soto showing a one track mind and style. Jack Reiss making himself seen and heard par for the course .

Wow Soto locks the left arm of Gonzalez and twists it back..gets warning from ref but that type of stuff needs a point deducted right off.

Scoring in this one is going to be all over the block, two totally different styles pick your poison. Points will go for outright aggression but Gonzalez is making him look very basic when close to the ropes. Gets off and gets out clean and sharper hitter. smart boxing

Gonzalez raises hands hoisted up by corner and Soto looks resigned in corner. Think Gonzalez did well enough to take the title but better grab the kids and hide under the table..here come the judges
