Sky commentators making out Williams has won the last 4 rounds which is nonsense. Eubank is in control.

Eubank has got to be thankful that he is so tough. If he got knocked down just once, it could change everything. Pretty indisciplined and unprofessional from Eubank

Williams wins round 9, Eubank is throwing single shots and missing a lot. I stopped scoring the fight as I did not think it would go the distance.

Chris scores another contentious knockdown in round 11 to now win the fight.

Eubank giving the last round away feeling he has done enough to win the fight. Eubank should do better.

If the fight is scored properly, those cards are bullshit. Eubank won that fight easily , but if you’re scoring rounds he won by about 3 or 4 points.
First 3 or 4 rounds, Eubank looked good , he actually boxed , used his jab and had control. He should never have let Williams win as many rounds as he did.
But you can’t have 6 rounds pissing about when you’re fighting for a World title.

Should be considered a mental loss for Eubank.

He had the fight in the bag in the first 2/3 rounds.

As good as he is we now worry about how he deals at a higher level when he cannot finish the fight when he had the chance.

I actually believe Eubank in his post fight interview when he says he deliberately wanted the fight to continue to teach him a lesson. That’s the sort of horseshit that goes through his head.
But you can’t switch it on and off like a tap as you go up the levels. And that is why when Eubank comes up against top tier boxers, he loses .

I watched a bit of the build up through the week and the start of this fight and was starting to warm to Eubank after many years of thinking he was a twat.
Then in the first 3 or 4 rounds , he used a jab, showed great control and timing, and for the first time in his career, started to look like he had some boxing skills.
Then he has to go and spoil it ! He gets arrogant and there is a way to be cocky, but remain professional, but he doesn’t possess that.
It’s scandalous that he LET Williams win 5 , maybe even 6 rounds in the middle of the fight, just by standing there and throwing ridiculous photo reel upper cuts.
I just read the BBC Website reporter’s analysis of the fight , talking about Eubank’s “dazzling skills and the best performance of his career” , which is pathetic really IMO.
The upshot is , that I was right about him all along about him.

Eubank will not be able to beat Andrade, Golovkin, Charlo or Lara but would beat Murata.

I can understand him taking his time with Williams but he was sloppy and careless for the remainder of their bout. Eubank would be best to stay at British domestic level and fight the likes of Felix Cash to earn money.
