I get the hate for Paul, I really do. But at some point we have to acknowledge the guy is putting it on the line. They said winner take all and he drew up the contract, Fury hasn’t signed. Fury is the guy to judge in this scenario, he shook hands on stage. His word means nothing. Jake did what he said. I’m starting to believe the guy that he would fight Froch

Don’t disagree with any of that. I do think that if Paul fought Froch, it wouldn’t take Froch much to get into sufficient shape to knock him out.
I think Paul knows that. That’s why he wants Froch to fight Silva . He can make money promoting that and then make even more money fighting Froch, before signing out or going back down a peg.
Not that Froch was a great World Champion, but he was a World Champion , even a hall of famer, which is MANY LEVELS above what Fury or Paul will ever achieve, let’s be honest. Froch would also beat Fury IMO.
I’ve seen bits of Paul v Da Silva and they’re Worlds apart.
I’ve said before, I do take my hat off to Paul , he clearly works hard, and it’s not his fault that people would throw their money away on Journeymen standard fights.
And before you say “why are you not slating Fury?” The answer is because I have no interest in him, he is not worthy of my disapproval. I’m not even going to say that he’s a pathetic joke. (Although I probably have now I suppose!)
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.

Signing a contract like that would be really stupid, fury could get robbed or get bundled over and tear his knee ligaments or something and then he's injured and gets nothing..great idea..

Not that i distrust, boxing, YouTubers, the Paul's, the fury's or anything like that but it's most likely yappy nonsense to get people talking and it's worked!

For me it's more of a disappointment in the state of the game. I don't 'hate' the guy, hey get in where you fit in. He's expanding his brand. And it's the substantial influence, money and brand that has allowed him to call his own shots. Unlike the ordinary 6-0 fighter, absent an Olympic/amateur streak and medal push etc, who would not have the promoters handing out tacky new belts, offering instant rankings and boxing insiders fawning over them. It's just all manufacturing and people treating it as it is transferring into some legitimacy. I mean its Tommy Fury. Jake is just trying to scalp the name/brand as he's done prior and it's the only reason Fury is here. Same for all the Froch talk and being "next". A 46 year old inactive for 9,10 years who peaked at 167. Who actually wants that. It's a ruse.
