Weird seeing a guy move directly where opponent wants him constantly. If Beterbiev doesn't get the tko with punches he may just drown Browne here. This looks like a Saw movie. Beterbiev on strong in 6th.

Oh brutal combination punching from Beterbiev. Browne down hurt and back up. Man I love his precise combo punching once it starts rolling

Beterbiev tames it a bit in 8th round Browne having spots but don't see enough to take round. Beterbiev cannot calm knowing a TD is possible any moment. Get on it

I would rather see Beterbiev vs Bivol than Beterbiev vs Canelo.

It’s the fight that matters at 175

Tony Bellew says ‘warning signs’ show Canelo Alvarez would knock out Artur Beterbiev

Tony Bellew has backed Saul “Canelo” Alvarez to knock out Artur Beterbiev if the boxing champions go head-to-head.

Canelo became the sport’s first undisputed super middleweight title holder in November, stopping Caleb Plant to claim the IBF belt that had eluded him.

The Mexican, who has held numerous titles across various weight classes, is set to make his cruiserweight debut against Ilunga Makabu next year. Some fans wish to see Canelo return to light heavyweight in the future, however, with undefeated Russian Beterbiev a potential opponent.

While some anticipate the possible bout with intrigue, former cruiserweight champion Bellew has said Beterbiev has shown enough signs of weakness to suggest that Canelo would finish the WBC and IBF light heavyweight title holder.

“I think Canelo would stop Beterbiev, I’ve seen the warning signs there already,” Bellew told DAZN. “I’ve seen the shots that he can be hurt with.”

Bellew highlighted Canelo’s previous outing at light heavyweight as evidence that the 31-year-old’s power would carry up to the weight class.

“It did against Sergey Kovalev,” the Briton said. “If it does with Kovalev then I think it will with Beterbiev.

“But as I said, it’s styles [that] make fights.”

Canelo fought Kovalev in November 2019, stopping Beterbiev’s fellow Russian in the 11th round to win the WBO light heavyweight title.

Beterbiev, 36, fought Marcus Browne on Saturday, knocking out the American in the ninth round.

I'm with armin on this one. Get Canelo in the mix NOW. Enough of this "let's wait till they kill each other off" shit. Or for Beterbiev to run into Father Time.

FOR ONCE I'd like to see Canelo fight someone dangerous at or near their peak.

Beterbiev is a beast! Browne started fast and was a confident slick southpaw but Artur was slowly busting up Marcus as the fight progressed.

Beterbiev had a horrible head clash in the 4th round but dominated Browne and dropped him in the 7th with a left hook to the body and finished him with the same in the 9th.

Beterbiev would beat Bivol and Canelo. He is a bigger and fresher version of triple G. No wonder Canelo is avoiding him.
