It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Was better few days ago . I don't see much middle ground in this one. Smith early bully onslaught with power within 3-4 or Beterbiev steadies and absolutely dissects him to tko over last 3 rounds. Either way conclusive no bs end .

i think joe's best hope is to come out swinging. artur has been dropped early twice previously

Can't see past a Beterbiev stoppage win. Mans a beast and just keeps coming at you! Smith of course has a punchers chance, probably needs to start quick and catch Artur cold, but I'd expect him to be a bit more cagey and guarded than he was against Callum Johnson for example, who he was probably underestimating and looking past in fairness.
Think Beterbiev ends it in rounds 8-10.

I'd have to agree with this. Beterbiev's a bit long in the tooth... but he's still got enough in the tank to take Joe out.

Looking forward to this fight. For the first time in a while, I watched the pre-fight TV specials today on both men. It's hard to dislike either one of them. Both are devoted to boxing... both are humble... both are good family men. But someone's got to lose this fight. I think Artur will prove too much for Joe. I don't see a decision win, either. Beterbiev I believe gets Joe out of there somewhere around Round 10.

After this, I would think a Beterbiev-Bivol showdown is all but inevitable. Only the douchebag promoters can screw this up... which they probably will.

Big Joe can whack and beterbiev has become careless and taken some damage, so with good odds smith Jr could ve worth a bet.

It looks like there are 5 more fights before the Beterbiev vs Smith fight. Lots to watch with UFC fights on as well.
I’ve been getting really frustrated seeing all the guys blatantly roided up in the UFC the last year and a half.

I loved Pride, but I just watched the fights, didn’t know the behind the scenes. Did they even pretend to be clean? That’s my issue with the UFC, they are pretending. There’s another fighter tonight with terrible gyno, can’t remember the last card without that. But it’s not just the regular gyno, it’s 35+ year old men suddenly getting in much better shape, it’s Zheng Weili and many of the women muscled up and shredded, it’s regular huge rear delts and upper traps(huge clues), it’s pulling up USADA testing and seeing Conor McGregor while bragging about bulking up hasn’t been tested since being tested 1 time in the 3rd quarter of last year and 0 since. Meaning it has been between 9 and 12 months since he has been tested.

If they want to be dirty, be dirty. But don’t pretend to be clean.

Interesting..it was on the very same day 6 years ago that Smith came in a big underdog to score a "upset of the year" bulldozing Fonfara and putting his name of the map hmm.

Does a man come full circle. If only he was fighting him again . I'll admit it..if I had fifty to burn I'd go there. Stranger things have happened.

I don't thi k they really pretended at all it was before Lance Armstrong scandal so I think most people ignored doping sports unlike today...

I agree macgregor definitely looks pretty suspicious right now... I'd like strict testing in Combat sports, it's just too dangerous... But baseball was way funner in the steroid age so I vote all worldwide sport doping is directed to the MLB.
