We all agree the World Cup should not be Qatar for reasons of corruption, human rights and messing the football season but let’s have some predictions.

    Winner:
    Finalist:
    Top Scorer:
    Player of the tournament:
    Best keeper:
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Just not up for this tournament at all.

Can't believe by this time next week we'll have played our first game.

I hope I start to give a shit

I can see us not getting out of the group.

Lot of our players not in form and Kane looks knackered poor fella.

A lot can change - Foden could well be our star man out there.

If we get to knockout stages we'll come up against one of the top countries and go out on pens as usual - probably France

De bruyne is a good choice for player of the tournament, forgot about him, i don't think Belgium are going go to far though and that'll take him out of the running, i think these days you need to make it to the final to be nominated.

De Bruyne is one of the best players in the world and think Belgium will go very far. I can see England get out of the group but lose to the first top team they play.

No doubt De Bruyne is a top player, and you may well be right . But either way you might want to rethink your predictions.
If The groups go to plan, Belgium play The 2nd place team in the Spain/Germany group.
If Spain win the group, Belgium play Germany in the last 16. Either your player of the tournament or your Goalkeeper of the tournament gets knocked out in the last 16.
If Germany win the group, Belgium play Spain. I think most people would have Spain winning that one.

Yes he is and four years ago i would have agreed about Belgium but they've been on a decline since then, their golden generation has passed by and as the ambling Alp pointed out Belgium have probably the worst group to face in the next round. I'd like Belgium to win the world cup though so hopefully you're right..

I've never been too convinced by england from 2018 onwards, they've had quite amazingly favourable draws the last two major tournaments and I do believe quite a few of the players are a bit overrated, i don't think this first 11 compares to the first 11 with roonster, Gerrard and lampard.... So you're probably right about england.
