Default Stephen fulton v Daniel roman june fourth

mad respect to cool boy steph for taking on danny. a nice little run steph is on currently against good opponents. danny to me is one of those avoided type guys in a division 7 he's been on the road too. this fight is probably being overshadowed by george v devin but could be the fight of the weekend

Honestly one of the more overlooked 'big' fights this year. Fulton is just hitting his stride off a brilliant fight with Figueroa but some of his chatter is way too dismissive of Roman, bring up losses some decade ago. David Morrell looks the goods on undercard. Should have his way with Henderson and probably pop off for Benavidez.

May Danny give Fulton a lesson, Fulton is an arrogant, mouthy, disrespectful and I could go on and on, the minute he starts talking we know what kind of person he is. The anger he displays is ridiculous, struggles? Does he knows how Danny has had struggles and never been recognized for all the defending fights he had, yet he remains humble.

Morell looks massive in 1st. Henderson content to stay on ropes and get worked over a bit. Keeping a tight guard so far if anything

Morrell center ring early and ends 2nd unloading on ropes but Henderson getting in between his bombs with these chippy accurate counters. Nose looks messed. Morrell a bit slower than I recall but trying to sort him out, uppercuts coming.

I'm pretty surprised in 3rd. Henderson can't punch a hole in wet cardboard but he won 2:45 of it until Morrell explodes on the ropes. Henderson reels and wobbles but gets back to his corner. Got that one back when it counted.

Henderson sneaky accurate, left eye cut and streaming down face. Like to see Morrell show some variety ring center but when you can pound nails then bring your hammers. Another onslaught late 4th ref waves it off.

Fulton and Roman just beginning. Very composed and mobile approach Fulton 1st. They look like two different divisions. In and outta the house right now

Crap. Another night of channel flip-flopping between competing fights.

They're making it easy though. Waiting for the others fight to end before they start live. Makes for great 3 hr cards of repeat rehash interviews and taping of the gloves competition .

Reminds of Canelo sitting on a couch waiting for the ufc card to end.

Ha! You're right. Just now the announcers were waxing poetic about the judges for the Haney-Kambosos fight. Saying this judge is from Hungary... the other judge is from Canada... none is from the U.S. or Australia. Saying there will be no "home-cooking" judging. They're either killing time... or they're just being grateful that they're not watching a fight in Las Vegas where the judging is pre-ordained for certain fighters.
