not always, depends on the fighters i guess. cornelius boza-edwards v rafael 'bazooka' limon & josh taylor v regis prograis were a good watch

when a southpaw learns how to fight they learn by fighting orthodox fighters. when a southpaw fights a southpaw they dont get to do what they like to do. they kinda have to learn how to fight again. you might say they get a taste of their own medicine.

i think both guys will be affected by it, neither has a lot of pro experience against southpaws. sparring partners could be the difference

I know too much gets made of Bud's switching, but I think it could give him an advantage here. Or at least leave him the lesser affected one of the southpaw on southpaw.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

    Good list and tough call.

Of the above, my most definite answers are on Ring IQ and versatility.

The rest I can see arguments on both sides.

That being said, I'd favor Crawford to win the fight by the slightest of margins.

Interesting and more debatable than you would expect. This is just my opinion and I’m sure some will disagree.
Personally I’m going for Bud probably points , maybe late stoppage but I doubt it. I’ve changed my mind on this one, I used to think Spence would be too strong.
But I’ve looked back at some of his fights and I see Spence getting tagged very heavily on the chin by Porter, Garcia and Peterson. And he took them well, but my thinking is , if Crawford tags him that clean, he won’t necessarily finish him off, but he will have more skill and will be able to take control of the fight.
Crawford is a more skilled fighter than any of those opponents.

    speed - Crawford
    power - Spence
    footwork - Crawford
    defense - Neither
    ring iq - Crawford
    chin - Spence
    body punching - Spence
    versatility - Crawford
    endurance - Crawford
    resume - Spence
