DEONTAY WILDER has sent social media into meltdown after the former WBC heavyweight champion released his debut single Everytime.

The 36-year-old teased the track - which was released on Father's Day - earlier this month after teaming up with brother Marsellos to record the song.

Wilder posted a snippet of the single on Instagram, where he stated: "There’s nothing like the feeling of being a great father and getting into the groove baby."

The Alabama native worked on the track during his time away from the ring following his trilogy bout defeat to Tyson Fury in October.

Fans of the Bronze Bomber were quick to comment on his post - joking his loss to the Gypsy King forced the American to switch professions.

One user said: "Tyson Fury made this guy change career."

Another remarked: "This will go down in boxing history as the moment when one of the most fearsome HW boxers ever got beaten so hard that he reconverted as a singer."

A third added: "Fury kicked his a** to music industry."

This supporter then told Wilder: "This ain't it champ... go back to boxing."

Meanwhile another quipped: "Damn... Fury ruined my guy."

One then simply stated: "Tyson Fury done turnt this man into a R&B singer."

Despite attempting to break into the music industry, Wilder has confirmed he still intends to return to the ring.

However, Fury has urged his rival to RETIRE, saying: "He is a very dangerous opponent but I don’t know what he has left in his tank.

"You don’t have a trilogy with one of the of the best fighters on the planet and come out on the other side to tell a great story and go on to win more world titles.

"He has been absolutely destroyed physically, mentally and emotionally and I would say he is a wreck at the moment.

"He has had a cracked jaw, a cracked skull and been knocked out cold twice, it is a tough comeback for him and it all depends on what he has left.

"I would not like to see him carry on, he has made a lot of money and I would like to see him retire."
