Climate change is the white supremacists fault

But it's black people who have to suffer the most because of it.

The Global North (US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and Japan) is responsible for around 94% of all global emissions. The Global South (Latin America, Africa and Asia). is responsible for around 6%.

The countries of the Global North industrialised first. That's when the fossil fuel corporations started. That's why energy and resource use is highest in North. People drive and fly, eat more meat and dairy, have fridges and gas boilers in their homes and these are countries with majority white populations in the North.

The countries with the lowest emissions are in black Africa and South and East Asia and that's even accounting for the huge emissions from China (which are recent)

Carbon footprints in Zambia in Africa are very low but the country is facing a drought which left over a million people starving. This is what happens when you have increased temperatures and less rainfall. You have crop failure, livestock deaths and reduced country's GDP.

This don't make the news. In fact Zambia came number one as the most under-reported humanitarian crisis of 2021 and they are screwed over as the world progresses toward a low-carbon economy.

African voices are not represented in climate summits. It's just a bunch of middle aged and older white dudes with letters after there names trying to sound deep and intellectual, O, and throw in that Greta young girl who the white media love.

Even in the USA when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. It was the city's black neighbourhoods who got screwed. Twelve years later, it was the black districts of Houston that took the full force of Hurricane Harvey.

This pic of black children playing near oil and chemical refinery plants in Louisiana USA

White supremacists always do this. They build their sh*t near us and also put landfill sites, incinerators, coal power stations right near black neighbourhoods.

They don't put that near white communities. Gee I wonder why ?

And all this deliberate pollution of black ppl is compounded by reduced access to healthcare, fewer resources blk ppl have for legal costs, and blk ppl's lack of political power to oppose the polluters.

Even something like wildfire, once again, caused by white ppl, but blk ppl are the ones most at risk, because they make sure less money is spent on reducing the risk of fire and they under-funded emergency services in blk areas, and blk ppl have lower rates of private insurance.

47 degrees Celsius here today, going for a 3 mile run with pushups and burpees mixed in. Try it. You'll like it. 35 Celsius? Hahaha, that's like Fall weather here.
