At 154 he’s going to be destroyed by second tier fighters- Benavides looked huge compared to Danny and has slipped significantly since his fight vs Crawford (when he could be considered second or third tier). Charlo destroys him and likely ends his career- that one would be ugly.
who would you consider a second tier fighter at one fifty four that would destroy danny?

I feel like Swift Hurd has fallen a tier or two and I feel like walks through and demolishes Danny due to the size difference. I would bet on Tim Tszyu blowing Danny out at 154. I like Danny- I admire his work ethic, his heart, his mental toughness, and his skill in the ring. I just feel that 154 is all wrong for him for so many reasons. I remember when Meldrick Taylor fought Terry Norris at 154- both were great fighters but Norris blew him out. It was brutal. Benavidez is a blown up 140 pounder and looked bigger and walked tHrough his punches- I feel like a full blown jr middle blows him out.

is jarrett still at one fifty four & is he even still fighting? i'd take danny. i don't class timmy as second tier

that female judge who scored the fight a draw has had some terrible cards in her time

Missed most of it late once Kownacki and Demirezen started swapping bear paws. That was a bruising fight, hope Kownacki has a plan B in the bigger picture. Amazing wbc positioned Danny in top 5 154 before the bell even sounded last night. All for challenging yourself but realistically we just watched this movie at 147 and feels like he was doing a lot of bluffing and posing late in there. 154 is a shark tank for him so clearly they've plotted out a route. Maybe an Austin Trout type fight next? If anything it'll probably be someone following him up for the next "opponent to be determined" match. If they're thinking Fundora and Tszyu area they should be brought up on charges. Harrison paints him like a blank canvas.

danny called out erislandy for a fight at one fifty five for a shot at erislandy's middleweight belt. i think tony super bad harrison would be a difficult fight but danny could outlast him & get tony late

Garcia will def bank on the power left hook that hasn't been there and Harrison being chin checked prior. A stiff legged Lara sitting down on his own power is a very bad battered night for Danny me thinks.

i also think that's a high profile easy money fight for erislandy

That was a poor and uninspiring win for Garcia. Both are blown up fighters and there was a lot of posturing and missing. Poor showing did not enjoy that contest at all.

Garcia will get eaten up at light middleweight by the best fighters in the division.

He desperately needs it. They're just towing him along going on 40 but he has that trinket to bring and "name". 160 has to be the most frustrating division. Golovkin seemingly leaving, not clear if he'll come back depending on Canelo III, yet all these Eubanks, Charlo, Andrade and Munguia etc doing more swerving than a Nascar track or talking about just leaving.
