You that sure it will happen?

Fury should be too big and long for Usyk. I do not think it will be a compelling contest either.

I’m not sure this happens, unfortunately. I agree with Master- Fury is just too big and long for Usyk to overcome. Usyk is good, but Tyson has many more dimensions than AJ. It would be a good fight if they were similarly sized, but Tyson is just too big and is very mobile for a big man- horrible match up for Usyk.

That being said, what does Tyson gain by beating Usyk? He doesn’t make the type of money he would have vs AJ, and I don’t know how much a win over Usyk would go for his legacy. I favor Fury but if he is off at all Usyk can squeak out the win- high risk with low reward. I want to see it but won’t be surprised if Tyson retires tonight.

Usyk is a good fight for Fury , lacks size and power.
Fury should be able to outreach him and win on points.

It won’t happen because Fury isn’t sure about it. Usyk beats Fury if it does happen, and people on here still not giving enough respect to “the foreign guy”

A no win fight for fury against the much smaller guy.

Now Khan has retired you could argue Fury and Usyk are the two best boxing brains currently active.

I kind of want to see it and kind of don't want to either.

Wilder was the danger man for Fury

Too risky for Fury, it will be like Holmes taking on Michael Spinks.

Fury already mentioned Steve Cunningham was his toughest fight.

    A blown up cruiserweight.

I haven't seen that at all. Most comments i have seen here and elsewhere are full of gushing praise for Usyk. The real bigots can't stand Joshua and now feel justified in not supporting him.

I think Joshua just unfortunately happened to pick a really awkward fighter and a South Paw to boot. It didn't help Joshua at all that whenever he would land a good body shot or two, he just could not put together another two or three solid connections like an uppercut or a hook immediately following for example. He rocked his opponent a couple of times pretty good, but let him get away.

If Tyson fury can get up off the canvas several times from the big power of deontay Wilder, then I do not see usyk being able to hurt Tyson fury.

The more I think about this the more I think it would be a real stinker. Two very smart fighters each able to negate the others weapons. Usyk can't hurt fury and he's too clever to get close and can evade him.

    This would be fucking awful

I also see Fury smothering Usyk and exhausting him by leaning all that weight on him in clinches. It would be jabs from the outside and looping shots to get in position for a clinch to exhaust Usyk. As good as Usyk is, I'm not sure he will be able to negate those tactics as he is much smaller than Fury. I agree that there is a good chance that this turns out to be a bit of a stinker. I would rather watch Usyk vs Wilder and Fury vs AJ.

Fury is nowhere near as hard to catch as he makes out. He has some skills, there is no denying that but if Wilder can catch him multiple times and drop him, don't believe for one minute that he will be able to avoid getting caught by Usyk. Usyk doesn't have to starch Fury (although don't rule that out) he just has to outbox him, and if someone as clearly limited as Wallin is can open up Fury's eye then Usyk can do some serious damage if Fury gets cocky. There is potential here for an explosive rollercoaster of a fight if Fury thinks he can simply wade in at points to end it early.

I have no doubt Usyk can connect a few times but don’t see him hurting him.

    A cut however…..
