Tsutsumi vs. Higa delivered another thriller, with 24 rounds now shared and still no separation on the scorecards. This time, though, I had Tsutsumi winning clearly, 116-112.
Tenshin Nasukawa showed serious championship potential in just his 6th pro fight. Moloney, as always, brought the fight, but those calling it close or for Moloney weren’t seeing the work Nasukawa was putting in—I had it 96-94 Nasukawa.
Nakatani looked every bit the P4P talent, steamrolling Cuellar. With Nishida entering the ring post-fight, a WBC/IBF unification seems likely. As much as I'd love to see Nakatani chase undisputed at 118, a super fight with Inoue at 122 or a clash with Bam Rodriguez at 115 feels more realistic.

LOL at the descriptions used: "dynamic and high-profile."
Nice and safe.
The basket case princess...
Rolly??
The damaged Devin Haney...
Damn...
Slim pickings there.
Hey... whatever furthers the cause of boxing. Especially among casuals.
I would have preferred Teo Lopez vs. Richardson Hitchins in a unification, but it looks like the Barboza Jr. mandatory was forced on Teo. Wild that we have Garcia, Haney, and Lopez all on the same card, yet none are fighting each other. Might as well throw Tank on there for the laughs and really rub it in.
