shit quality is all that's out there on this one but what a slugfest
Forgot how good Golota was besides the mental fragility.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
For sheer drama in a quality fight... I'll submit Round 15 of Larry Holmes vs Ken Norton... June 9th 1978.
Good move on that one Titofan. That fight (and esp. that round) always gave me chills.
not a heavyweight bought but this one always stands out as one of my favorites....
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I miss everything about fights like this. The casual predictable roll out of top boxing on a weekend afternoon. Production, instant fighter build/short bios. Fun scrap
vicious, vicious slugfest, the kind we love boxing for:
here is a vicious, vicious slugfest which I had not seen until now:
RIP Mitch and Hamed US network debut! On a side, Liles and Roy would have been a decent 168 Unification .
Merqui Sosa vs Prince Charles Williams was stopped by the ref and declared a draw because he felt both had taken too much punishment to continue. That was the first time that had ever happened and I don’t think it has happened since. How brutal is a fight if the ref declares both guys unfit to continue?
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
What a first round and what a fight! Not seen that fight before Tic but that was a vicious slug-fest.
