Well... I realize YouTube is chockfull of educated scholars who perform all the necessary checks when putting out a story... but for my taste, I'd rather stick with unbiased, un-slanted, respected news media. You know... the type that existed before social media.
Facebook and Twitter... ditto.

"Covid misinformation spikes in wake of Damar Hamlin’s on-field collapse"
They must be slipping. This wave should've been almost immediate.
Does it honestly matter anymore, as regardless of what medical professionals and actual Doctors rule...it won't matter. That's not the question or determination being fished at or danced around by people yelling "Tha jAb dUnn'it" before it was even known if the poor kid was literally dead or alive once transported last night. If he was vaccinated well that's determination of "cause" enough. Current America. Saw it elsewhere right off by more than a few. God forbid we ask anything crazy like family history, previous injuries. This merry go round never ends.
you introduced all of the above in response to my question if other causes could be a possibility. you may not be accusing me but you are distracting from my question that you chose to reply to. the purpose of your thread does not dictate how other members have to reply. yes it was tragic, let's hope the real cause was from nothing nefarious & just an unfortunate incident & let's hope these incidents don't become more prevalent
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
only problem i have with this is that is exactly how some danced & yelled that "covid dunn'it" based on a failed pcr test when the cause of death was not known if it was with covid or from covid. whatever it was people were believing convid was
yes other possibilities yeh? i can think of several other possibilities of cause the top of my head
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
how have you verified their claims to be true? can you please provide your processes so i can verify them as true for myself? i'm not saying it is not a possibility but i am not just going to believe secondhand information, so i'll wait for the processes you have verified to be true that support your statement of damning evidence, unless you want to admit you are just believing something
how have you verified their claims to be false? can you please provide your processes so i can verify them as false for myself? i'm not saying it is not a possibility but i am not just going to believe secondhand information, so i'll wait for the processes you have verified to be false that support your statement of damning evidence, unless you want to admit you are just believing something
What's everyone opinion of this:.

"Damar Hamlin had to be resuscitated a second time, his uncle says"
"After suffering a cardiac arrest midgame on Monday, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin remains in critical condition, sedated and on a ventilator, according to an update from his uncle.
The 24-year-old is being treated in the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after a seemingly routine tackle caused his heart to stop beating. First responders administered CPR on the field to resuscitate Hamlin in front of his distraught teammates and millions of fans.
Early Wednesday morning, his uncle, Dorrian Glenn, told reporters in several televised interviews that doctors restarted Hamlin's heart for a second time when he got to the hospital.
"I'm just glad he's still alive and able to fight," Glenn told CNN. "I just want to show my gratitude to the medical staff that were on hand. If it were not for them, my nephew probably wouldn't even be here."
Hamlin is now on a ventilator, lying facedown on a hospital bed to keep pressure off his damaged lungs, Glenn said. Doctors are aiming to get him breathing on his own, but will continue "taking it day by day."
Overall, his uncle said, it appears that Hamlin's health is "trending upwards in a positive way."
Glenn traveled 300 miles to be with the second-year NFL player and his immediate family early Tuesday morning, he told CBS. He'd been watching the game at home in Pittsburgh when his nephew collapsed on-field.
"I'm not a crier, but I've never cried so hard in my life," Glenn said of watching those uncertain moments unfold on a screen. "Just to know my nephew basically died on the field and they brought him back to life. It's just heart-breaking. To see all those grown men crying and the emotion ... man, it really was a gut punch."
Glenn added that he believed in "the power of prayer" and was thankful for the support that millions of people have shown Hamlin.
Late Tuesday night, all 32 NFL teams changed their social media profile pictures to show Hamlin's #3 jersey with the text "Pray for Damar."
The NFL said Tuesday that the tragic Bills-Bengals game, which was postponed with six minutes left in the first quarter, will not be resumed this week. The organization has yet to decide whether to continue the match-up later on."
So basically Hamlin is still in critical condition, but overall his status is slowly trending upward.
That is the only thing that matters at this point. Wild conjectures about the cause are pointless and frankly only damaging at this point. But that doesn't stop people from doing it.
The NFL has its hands full right now, as it desperately tries to balance the sensitivity of Hamlin's injuries with the remainder of the season and the looming playoffs.
I'd hate to be in those front offices (NFL) during these times. They're bound to get criticized no matter what they decide.
