I really enjoyed this card. Even the prelims had good fights. Cruz/Fierro was brutal. Morrell was too tentative at times and needed to let his hands go more, but he showed he belonged in the ring with Benavidez. I had it close on my scorecard, with Benavidez winning 114-113. Without the point deduction, I would have had it a draw. I must add that the pacing of the card was superb, and the absence of anthems was a pleasant change. I don't think Benavidez or Morrell beat Beterbiev or Bivol but Beterbiev is not getting any younger so we'll see how things play out if the fights happen.

Coming from a fawning groupie with zero objectivity, I find that rather amusing.
