Usyk wins on my card
Usyk wins on my card
Must be humbling for the muppet knowing he got beat pillar to post by a "middleweight" at points.
Well Ukrainian came back good and I think the Ukrainian wanted by one or two points
Usyk, split decision
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I can't for the life of me see how anyone could score that for Fury. Usyk put daylight between them. I suppose we should be grateful that the right man got the nod.
Usyk is a gentleman. In the ring he's a seriously bad man.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
one judge gives it to tyson by one point, one judge gives it to oleksandr by three points & the third gives it to oleksandr by one point. oleksandr gets the split decision
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
Congratulations Oleksandr Usyk
Gotta watch those rabbits Steve
Three words I wasn't sure we'd hear again in the era of "super heavyweights"...step aside Evander! Now there's Usyk.
I was wrong, the Ukrainian is not a rabbit or a sausage or a shithouse
It really looked like he was done for by the sixth round or so he was getting wobbled and getting really punished to the body and with uppercuts but it looked like he broke Tyson's nose and after that Tyson was not the same and then he got his ass kicked in that one round and never seemed to recover
I scored the fight 115 113 for the Ukrainian
I don't think there's anybody on this forum who would deny that after about 6 rounds it did not look very good for the Ukrainian. Fury was really doubling him over with body shots and smashing his face with uppercuts from outside and it did not look good at all and it looked like he was starting to break down. So it's pretty reasonable to think that after a few more rounds of that he could have stopped him. I can't figure out why Fury didn't continue punishing the body like that and why he didn't snap his job more. He really fought like garbage the second half of the fight but everyone has to agree that he totally dominated the first half of the fight. Who knows why it happened but in the end it was a pretty even fight and if it wasn't for that one round here Tyson would have definitely won it on points
I don't think there's any member of this forum that would deny that if that round that fury Got punished in had been an even round or just a normal round that Fury would have won the fight on points I just don't know why he didn't continue to use the strategy that he used for the first six rounds because it was very effective. The Ukrainian does not like those body shots at all and we saw Daniel du Bois really rock him with a body shot that he complained and he lied about was a low blow but if you watch the replay it was right on the beltline and I was saying that Fury should really punish him to the body and he was doing exactly what I thought he should do I just don't know why he stopped

It seems like the three fights with Deontay Wilder they really ruined Tyson Fury.
For me I really have to fault Tyson Fury for the loss more than I can give credit to the Ukrainian for the victory. I don't know why Tyson Fury didn't fight harder and throw more right hands and more jobs in the last few rounds. I think this is more a case of Tyson Fury getting blamed for the loss rather than the other guy getting credit for the win
That undisputed belt the Saudis came up with is predictably tacky but also remarkably cheap looking when you consider the Saudi sense of style.
