The fight did not go the way many anticipated. Many thought it would be technical and even boring, but it was riveting and at times dramatic.
Usyk was the aggressor from the start and took the centre of the ring. He had Fury on the ropes forcing him to fight when many thought Fury would put the pressure as the bigger man.
Fury found success using his footwork, boxing skills, speed, creating space using his height and reach where he started to catch Usyk who nearly got stopped in round 6.
It was Usyk who came on stronger in the second half of the fight when many though Fury would as the bigger man and even stop his opponent.
Remarkably Usyk adjusted, forced through the pain, picked up the pace and landed quality punches that Fury could not avoid and was left stumbling across the ring.
Ref did the right thing and give a standing count and not stop it.
How Fury recuperated after that beating is beyond belief to win the last round on the judges cards.
The right man won so the points system works.
