Default Robeisy Ramirez vs Rafael Espinoza Dec. 9 ESPN

It'll be same night as Haney v Prograis and second defense for Robeisy vs the #11 rated Espinoza 21-0. Don't know how accurate it is but Espinoza is listed as 6'1 as a featherweight . Bruce Shu Shu Carrington has a decent little step up vs Jason Sanchez. Rohan Polanco and Delante Johnson also on the card.

Ramirez & Lopez need to get it on
Both guys have an eye on Inoue, when they should be setting their sights on each other

That's a nice unification! Barring a monumental letdown v Tapales...assume nothing...Inoue is coming straight to their house next so get it sorted. Wbo tends to give a top champ coming up first crack so time to shine Robeisy. First things first Saturday.

Totally overlooked Xander Zayas on main card v Jorge Fortea 154. Zayas is getting closer to Tszyu as far as ranking but has work to do. Love his activity this year and that's missing a date with illness.

Delante Johnson lets himself get hit a little bit too easy backing into corners. Maintains his cool and a step ahead though. Into the 5th v 15-1 Jimerr Espinosa.

Very nice 5th for Johnson, slicing clean right hand had Espinosa do a double step.

Pretty intense infighting by two fighters still figuring it out. Like Espinosa in 6th. Johnson has these spots where he clinches up and just sort of sits there. Blood from the nose now.

Oh Johnson hurt off a big right hand sitting on the ropes and he ties up!

Espinosa 7th. Wish I would have caught this one from the start. Johnson looking stiff.

Espinosa 8th head to body and physically moving Johnson. Not to cast a talent out prematurely but Johnson better buckle up as these levels increase. He has tons of work to do beginning with slipping repeat right hands.

Scores in 78-74...Johnson...77-75 Espinosa...79-73 Johnson split call for Tiger Johnson.

Rohan Polanco v Keith Hunter into the 3rd. Hunter has a gangly long frame. Another fighting son of perennial and very cagey journeyman Mike the Bounty Hunter

Definitely looked that way. Gave Espinosa 6,7,8 but not sure on first 4 rounds.

Well, not all sons can be their father when it comes to the squared circle eh. Hunter being worked over bad that round. Surviving on jazz hands, facial taunts and a little grit. Ref will be close

Huh. Hunter bluffing and tapping his way thru early 4th. Polanco not doing much of anything except waiting on brick finisher. Meanwhile he just gave that round away.

Polanco playing with his food. Eat already! Hunter working with what he has, long but active sticks and varying levels. OHHH Hunter buzzed him badly with a temple shot. Love it. Big round Hunter
