AJ gets his chance to be a x3 world champion.
Who wins and why?
Usyk beats them both in the same night.

What a joke. Do the IBF actually think anybody would regard either guy (who both lost to the guy holding all the other belts) as a ‘world’ champion?
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot by devaluing your top trinket
Idiots
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
To be a three time world champion means you've lost it twice.
In my book you only regain it by beating the man who beat you.
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I'm rooting for Dubois, only because AJ had a chance to fight Fury and Wiler at prime times and also because he whined and bitched after the Usyk loss.

All of what you say is completely correct. But. It’s a difficult situation. If the IBF (or any of the governing bodies for that matter) hang around waiting for champions to keep having rematches, then nobody gets an opportunity and it becomes a closed shop.
So many problems.but off the top of my head
1. Too many governing bodies. Ideally there should be one , 2 at the most. It’ll be interesting if Turchi’s vision of global domination comes to fruition.
2. No rematches clauses should be allowed.
Loads more problems to iron out but that’s a start.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
Technically all they're doing is sticking to their "rules" I suppose. Filip was 1, Dubois dusted Filip to take interim. But we live in a boxing world of polar opposites with bodies. When they are doing this, the wbc allows champions to hibernate on their belt. The biggest problem I've had with the ibf is the fact that they keep "vacant" ranked at 1 or 2 and sometime both in every single division. Save for 112 and oddly 168. It's a built-in arbitrary pass to run guys up on a whim pretty much as they wish. And tbh I think if Usyk wasn't Usyk in name and maybe lack of crossover marketability, they wouldn't turn the screws on Usyk in the background. He's not some glory boy fawning over them at every turn. He's the literal definition of the fighter makes the belt not vice versa. They'd also see the sea change with Filip losing and the possibility of Aj/Joshua rematches aka read the room and make exceptions. But that's looking too far ahead and Dubois v AJ is what's happening now for them. Turki may wag his finger but let's not pretend having a championship tag and belt on that fight tickles him juuust fine. Personally I've reached the point where undisputed is a little overrated. It in its own way gives more credence to the trinkets now. We've seen champions literally left "unified" up to the point of entering a ring...and then instantly considered stripped. For no other reason than marketing and selling tag lines on the banners as in Charlo v Canelo.
What is the point of living if we are going to die and not remember anything?
Indulge me the privilege of rephrasing the question.
"If you're going to run out of cake to eat, what's the purpose of eating cake?"
The purpose is to enjoy it. Having been served the above cake (or a flavour more to your liking, as you please), would you rebuff, "No thank you. There's not enough of this cake to eat forever, so there's no purpose to eating it." Of course not! Scarcity doesn't make it any less pleasurable.
Doesn't that cake look delicious? So it is with life.

This is a very good contest and will be a big UK event here.
Glad it has got made and the belt may have persuaded AJ to take this challenge which I prefer over Parker or Zhang.
Triple D is on a good run and is an exciting, dangerous hard puncher.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I've grown to appreciate AJ in the ring, But we can also look at this as coming full circle regarding the ibf and its emptiness. We have to remember he initially became champ beating a guy regarded as literally the weakest heavyweight champ of all time. Seldon, Akinwande and a few others aside. Martin was gifted the ibf strap vs Glazkov who tore his knee out by missing a punch. Literally nothing was landed by Martin to register a ko. It was as close to a fluke fix you'll see. These belts lost much of their respect and meaning a very long long time ago. If we're trying to polish a terd here , AJ has a chance to finally get an initial title win right here. Usyk doesn't need no trinket for fans to know who and what the real deal is.
I just find it amazing to see Dubois fighting for a title again when he lost to Joyce and Joyce is the one now having to rebuild his career and on the climb back up the ladder. Amazing how boxing goes...
