I think the feet of Madrimov are throwing Bud off. He's not sitting on anything and timing way off. Crazy to hear the full aggressor blamed as the guy not making the fight by Porter. Buds in deep here

Crawford just too fast and sharper than Madrimov. Should get the decision.

Have it a draw. Once again. But that will not happen.

A run at 154 would be phenomenal for him. Boots, Tszyu, Ortiz and company. Sweep it! Reality needs to settle in with leap frogging divisions.

The Canelo Talk is officially dead. Bud will get decapitated by the Redhead Vato

I thought Madrimov would win but I think his caution is what made it close.

I don't think I've seen a fighter reset as much as Madrimov did last night.

It almost seemed like Madrimov was content with putting up a competitive effort. He thought the risk of him getting countered when he commited was greater than the prize that could come from landing if he committed. Hence Madrimov did too much posturing and not enough sustained aggression

Crawford landed the better shots all night, and more of them. Madrimov was awkward but he didn't throw enough, higher percentage of low volume does not win a fight, and Madrimov was not landing anything to hurt Bud. Bud landed harder and more effective shots, ie he outboxed Madrimov

116-112 Crawford. I understand Eddie Hearn trying to make it sound extremely close (maybe I could say it was 115-113 to Bud but no way Madrimov won the fight) because Madrimov is his fighter. But what about DAZN commentary? They were biased to Madrimov from the start of the fight. Next time I'll just mute it and watch.

Hearn complaining about scorecards was funnier than that shirt his wife picked out lol

Crawford has 2-3 fights left give or take. He always wanted to have the same career trajectory as Andre Ward and Timothy Bradley in terms of how they carried and marketed themselves. He said it himself, he didn't want to take on the Mayweather/Broner role of doing clownery sh*t to draw attention to himself and you have to respect him for being true to himself

Hey it was good to see Oscar and his bottom hoe Holly tonight but someone please tell her to slow down on the botox. Bytch starting to look like a feral cat!

Jared Anderson Vs Martin Bakole ?

Only casuals thought this was an upset

Like so many quick handed boxers, all fighters like Jared can do is lead. They don't know how to counter and so they look great when they are on top and don't have much coming back at them but when face up to opponents who are not just there to be hit, but actually hit back, they get pushed back and exposed as being unable to box on the back foot because they can't counter and can only lead.

Easy to say now, but I always got David Price vibes from Jared.

Anderson has been exposed only in the sense that he's fought his first legit gatekeeper and been found wanting. Can he improve and fix his problems? He's young and it's possible - but it's a big ask. Plus he doesn't love boxing. He has admitted it. Maybe he can go a bit further, maybe not, but I very much doubt he'll go all the way to a belt.

But respect to Anderson as nobody wanted to know Martin, let alone fight him. Everyone knew Bakole is an animal. People behind the scenes, media, trainers, sparring partners. The only issue was that was he only a "gym fighter" but couldnt do it under the lights, well bakole's big bear paws silenced that by TKO-ing Anderson thus taken it out of the judge's hands.

This fight shows what a waste of talent Hunter has become.

    Hunter beat Bakole by TKO

While Bakole is better than he was, he hasn't improved so much that I'd pick him to beat the version of Hunter he faced. So I'm personally not sold on Bakole, he's good but I don't see him as a top contender. Beating hype jobs in Yoka and Anderson were impressive but he's yet to show us he can actually compete with anyone in the top 10 and his lack of fitness and tendency to gas will likely cost him at a higher level.

He'll struggle with durable movers who can fight effectively at range when they need to

But as I say the fallout of this, well for me is that, Michael Hunter might be the best American HW of the last 10 years, as sad as it sounds.

I was just now about to ask about Michael Hunter.
