    Default Tyson Fury retires .....

Another normal day on planet earth: the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, the planet continues to spin around the sun. It rains in some places, and it's sunny in others ..... and Tyson Fury makes a big announcement that he is retiring.

(wait a couple of months before the Joshua fight is announced)

Fury must have got his knickers in a twist during the negotiation to face AJ and announced his retirement to try and get a better deal.

No one is taking it serious.

Not really bothered to see him fight AJ. Let them both disappear into the sunset

    Ok. Bye.

I think this might be his fifth retirement.

Be a shame if he does retire, and we never get that all British showdown we have waited all these years for. Tyson Fury v David Price would have been EPIC!

Still thinks he was robbed, obviously still away with the fairies. He robbed everyone including boxing with years of empty promises, outright lies, and bullshit excuses.

To bottle it and duck an always fragile but now clearly shot Joshua is the cherry on greedy bellies cake.

Fury clearly can't get his body into fighting shape anymore. He was at his fighting best when he fought Wlad. That's the Fury I enjoyed, more so than the Fury that beat Wilder twice. jmo...

I’m still somewhat cheated we never got David Haye (when he was still a mean, dangerous athlete) and a nearly prime Tyson Fury. That would have been a really interesting fight …….

Consider my jaw agape and eyes wide with shock. Greedy Belly airs more overly dramatic repeats than a Spanish soap opera channel. Sounds like another tantrum slash negotiation bs for a fight between two guys with one foot in the recycling bin.

Let's be honest and let's not look past the fact he's had an amazing career and has one of the greatest comeback stories ever in any sport - there'll be a movie one day about it.

He lost a lot of fans the two years plus he clowned around after Wilder 3 and wasted some good years when he was in the zone - he was never about money he said then that became his motivation....

And let's not also forget he lost two fights narrowly to one of the greatest boxers we've ever seen - two fights that could on another day have been given to him by the judges (and yes that would have been controversial too).

Bragging rights is all that's left for these two - and a huge pay day of course - but they are now just also rans. Nobody wants to see either back in with Usyk again.

I still say the version of Fury who beat Wlad and the one that beat Wilder II beats Usyk.
