Default heavyweight version of James Toney vs SuperMiddleweight version of Roy Jones

Who would win, i know it sounds odd but is size everything?...
I see Roy wininning an easy slide of a decision for the whole fight, Toney may be tougher and stronger at heavyweight than he was a supermiddleweight but he sure as hell would be alot slower too.
And if he couldn't touch Roy st supermiddle weight, there is no way in hell that the same Toney who fought Rahman would beat Jones at supermiddle weight.

some people think he could walk straight through Jones, but how can he?
He'll just be plodding forward even slower than before, he's still shorter than Jones and lost the great conditioning he once had.
And this is considering Toney is one of the best heavyweights today

James has only become less elusive and less fast at Heavyweight, I think Jones would beat him. They still fought the same so Jones would have him beat by style any time they fought. Besides I don't think Toney's confidence was the same when he got clocked after mocking Roy.

So if he can beat James Toney as a SM, what does this mean for the other heavyweights?

Yeah I guess your right, never thought about it like that. :P

Seriously this is a very interesting question, imo. We'll never know the answer either... I guess it would depend on how weight drained Toney actually was when he fought Roy Jones.. He apparently killed himself to make 167 then was put on an IV overnight and weighed in at almost 190.. I don't care who you are that would be excruciating and if that's true Toney is a warrior just for still fighting.. But I suspect with Toney at HW it would be somewhat competitive I really have no idea.. Maybe Jones could do it even easier, maybe Toney would be alot more comfortable and could just press his size.. Probably not, im gunna say it would look about the same.

Toney is a disgrace I cannot see how anyone would put him near a top-ten P4P list.

He cant even beat some second rate heavyweight champ called Rahman!
