Default God bless Bob Arum!!! Promotor rejects Judah rematch.

Just read on fightnews.com that he disregarded the notion of a PBF-Judah rematch. Thank God for common sense!!! Nobody needs to see the same fight again. Zab cant beat him, face it!! He even mentioned the possibility of PBF-Margarito. Persdonally, I feel thats a mismatch, but I'd rather see Tony get his shot than Scab "Loser" Judah!!

Don King and Bob Arum sort of get along, but like feuding siblings. However, Arum has had enough of King's rematch garbage, something he's been doing for years to try and keep as much control over the sport as he can. I don't know the inside story but I'll bet that King and IBF President Marian Muhammad have a little arrangement:

Muhammad tries to sound cordial and reasonable but that's a typical ploy of an administrator with an underlying agenda.

The simple fact is that most knowledgeable boxing fans are eager to see Margarito fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., and the thought of watching a Judah-Mayweather rematch is about as appealing as eating warmed-up leftover meatloaf that's been sitting in the refrigerator for a week or so.

Thats great let Floyd fight some one he hasn't whooped yet. Like I said before ther is so much more out there for him right now that it would be a waist of time to see him fight Judah again.

Don't bless Bob Arum for anything.

If Zab's promoter wasn't named "Don King" Floyd would be fighting Zab again with Arum saying "Its a fight people want to see."

Bob did this because of his hate for Don because he really couldn't give a f*ck what the fans think He only cares money so don't bless him yet.

Regardless of the motive, he made the right choice.

    I do NOT trust Arum.

He said that Floyd was looking at Margarito and Baldomir for Floyd to fight then ultimately picked Judah. He could say the same things here. But if hatton loses to Collazo then do we have a PBF vs. Collazo PPV? If Margarito loses is that sellable.

    This PPV did 350,000 buys.

If we go by recen PPV's.

    Hopkins Taylor II made more

    Wright Trinidad made more

and Jones Jr vs. Tarver III made more.

This doesn't say anything bad to me about the buys. Other then the obvious fact that Mayweather isn't as huge a draw as Trinidad or Hopkins or Roy Jones Jr.

I was the right choice for "boxing" but ultimately was it the right choice for Floyd, given potential circumstances? you think so?

Bob Arum is not doing the wrong thing. Nobody can beat PBF.

why would King and judah's corner would want a rematch. do they want to finish what is left of zab's career. i mean back to back to back losses, I think they should just take a step back fight some B grade fighters build some momentum and then come back into the picture. I guess zab is in good graces with the all mighty because even after a loss he remains in the picture. after baldomir he got a match with PBF and every one was makin excuses for zab and trying to erase that memory for him. now he lost to PBF but all the attention has shifted towards the melee controversy and there isn't much emphasis being drawn on the fact that zab lost and he is already gaining momentum for a comeback.
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya

Two losses - even in a row will not defeat Zab's career. He's still too good of a boxer!

Regardless of his motive and if the fight would have went ahead if the opposite promoter was not Don King,I like Arum here. I also heard and am trying to find the link that he has offered Floyd $8mill to get into the ring with Tony. When I find the link,I'll post it and Floyd does not take the fight now.....

I love it if the IBF stripped Mayweather and gave the belt back to Zab, after his second straight loss. It would show the world how stupid that corrupt alphabet organizations are.
