Default My open letter to my favorite fighter: Pretty Boy Floyd

I think it's about time you take that Margarito fight. Margarito is your only guaranteed big money fight right now, so there really is no excuse. You've always said "if it makes dollars, it makes sense (cents)." Floyd, let's run down your options:

ODLH - Even though this is a HUGE money fight for you, forget about it. I really don't think ODLH will beat Mayorga. The layoff will be too much. Even if he does, the fight probably still won't get made.

Hatton - Hatton should beat Collazo. You would probably face Hatton for less money now than Margarito because Hatton would take a lot of the pot too. Margarito probably is only seeing a mil for the fight, while Arum offered you 8 mil plus extra PPV profits. Beat Margarito, let Hatton grab the WBC belt later this year, and make the Hatton fight a bigger even better fight, than it is now, for early 2007.

Judah - Why give this guy another shot? After you beat him, Judah admitted you beat him, and he low blowed you and acted like a complete loser. Let him stay broke, don't put money into his pocket. Furthermore, the alphabets are corrupt, but the IBF is starting to get really disgusting (not just @ 147, it's at every weight). You've already got the distinction of being a 4 weight class champ. Throw that belt in the garbage, so the IBF can vacate it. Oops, my bad, they'll probably just give it back to Zab. If you beat Tony, you can take his belt anyway.

Gatti - Gatti doesn't have the belt yet, he's gotta go through Baldy. If he actually wins it, do you think he's giving you a shot? Hell no. Even though your WBC's poster child, do you think they make you mandatory after you won the IBF title? Even if they did, Gatti would probably retire before facing you.

Baldy - If Baldy wins, he's gonna actually start believing he's the real champ instead of just a guy trying to cash in on one big fight. He'll have a bit more to lose and he'll wanna cash in on a couple more fights. He won't throw it away by facing you after beating Gatti. And if he does wanna fight, he'll be demanding $4-$5 Mil, and whose cut is that coming out of? Yours.

Cotto - Way too green. Mosley - Way too old.

There really is no need for a tuneup. Margarito not only makes the most sense, you'll make the most money, win a championship, and get even more respect than you have now. Take the fight Floyd.

I believe Arum on this. Why? He knows that Margarito's style is attractive and he will have exciting fights,so invest in him now,and he knows Tiny will perform so he will get all that money back! I'm almost salivating at the prosepect of my 2 fave fighters(Cotto when he moves up) and Tony getting it on,stadium packed with Latinos!!! Or Margarito koing Zab!! Margarito just needs this fight for the exposure!

Mayweather obviously is one of the best when it comes to not getting hit flush, especially in the face. But you wouldn't know it by looking at those pics, my god what a nose.

Ya, take him on and put all those arguments against you to rest, and we'll be here cheering for you all the way.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
