Whoever thinks Byrd wins by KO is INSANE!

People have really bought into this theory that Wladimir has a china chin and actually think Byrd(the same Byrd who hasn't knocked anyone down let alone out)has the ability to KO him!!

Yep, I don't get it. I watched the 1st Byrd-Wladdy fight just yesterday and it was very 1-sided. The best you could say for Byrd in that fight is that he usually defended well and occasionally came forward and tried to get inside. However, he just didn't have an answer for Wladdy's jab, left hook and occasional straight right hand. Has Wladdy deteriorated since that fight? I really don't think so although his reaction to getting scared or hurt now is to hold whereas he didn't used to be that way before the Brewster fight. I doubt whether that will matter much against Byrd. Wladdy may hold occasionally to take a rest, but he won't hold much otherwise unless a miracle (or disaster depending on who you're rooting for) happens and Byrd hits Wladdy right on the chin with the biggest straight left that he's ever thrown.

I dont find the notion of Byrd by KO is insane. With the stamina issues Klitschko has, it's not impossible. Even w/ the light hitting Byrd, if you work the body enough, you never know.

Byrd could get a tko, if wladdy slows down in the championship rounds then byrd could get him on the ropes and hit him without any answer. Thats just one scenario.

Klitsfan is absolutely right. No way in hell Byrd should be able to KO Wladimir. Klitchsko is much stronger and a better boxer now. I'd like to see him knock the heck out of Byrd!

I believe Wlad will ko Byrd.

It is not impossible for Byrd to stop Wlad though with a lot of clever movement, he needs to make Wlad chase him while stopping to hit him with a lot of shots to body and head if he can get inside.

I just cant see Byrd being able to keep out of Wlads way for 12 rounds and being able to take his power.

Unless we see something dramatic happens such as Wlad becoming so exhausted that he can barely stand then i see him stopping Byrd in 7

I never implied that. As many times as Wlad has been put down, its not a crazy thought to think that Roy Jones could put him down. Byrd doesn't get gased like alot of fighters. If he can take him in deep, i think he can rock him. A KO doesn't have to happen with one punch.

I'll even give you the fact that Byrd has only knocked out one person since 2000. But Wlad has shown that he can be easliy rocked. Maybe Byrd can do it, maybe he won't, but to say it's impossible is just dim.
