A lot of good action happen in the Far East over last weekend and this week and we’ll break it down for you here, only on SaddoBoxing.com!

We start off in Thailand, where on Friday Chatchai Saskul raised his record to 51-2 by stopping Filipino journeyman Tata Polinar in Bangkok to defend the WBC’s Asia Boxing Council Bantamweight crown. Also, Fahpetchnoi Sor Chitpattana retained his WBC Youth Flyweight belt with a third round knockout of Richard Garcia.

Heading now to Penrith, Australia, Adam Vella took the vacant IBO Asia Pacific Middleweight strap with a wide unanimous decision over Paul Le. In Coff’s Harbour, New South Wales, Tim Bell shocked the far more experienced Australian Light Heavyweight titlist Justin Clements when the referee called off the action in the fifth round.

On Saturday in Tokyo, Japan, Emiko Raika won an eliminator for the WIBA Super Feather title by seeing off the well seasoned Belinda Laracuente over eight rounds.
In the same city at a different venue, Nobuhito Honmo kept his Japanese Super Feather crown for the eighth consecutive time by scoring a five round technical decision over domestic rival Dainoshin Kuma.

On Sunday in Kurashiki, Japan, lightweight Jaguar Tetsuya stopped Hirohito Fukuhara in the ninth and Kanzunori Fujita made short work of Yusuke Doi at lightweight while
light flyweight Keita Ohmi stopped Tomoyoshi Nakayama in the sixth.

On Monday we head back to Tokyo where featherweight Daisuke Yamanaka finished off
opponent Min Sung Lee in the fifth and flyweight Hyobu Nakagama got Tomufumi Nakata out of there in just two rounds.

Yesterday in Nakornrachasima, Thailand, Terdsak Jandaeng secured the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Featherweight title by belting out Jaime Barcelona in the ninth and former IBF Minimumweight Champion Ratanapol Sor Vorapin destroyed novice Dicky Timor in the very first round.

We finish up back in Japan when at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall, Takatsugu Kudo saw off
Tomoya Matsuda over eight rounds at super feather while super fly Tomohiko Saito
drew with Yoshinori Naito over eight and Takahito Osawa stopped Takayuki Hiraizumi
in the third during a bantamweight contest.
