This Sunday, Feb 12th at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence RI, Miguel Espino (10-2-1 4 KO’s) get’s his shot to shine on ESPN, as The Contender air’s it’s next edition of professional fights labeled “East Coast Pride”. In the Co-main event to the Peter Manfredo Jr. vs Scott Pemperton headliner, Espino a Contender veteran, takes on the rough and always game Dorian Beaupierre (12-4-2 6 KO’s) in an 8 round slugfest. Having lost a couple of very close decisions to legitimate fighters like Manfredo Jr. and Daniel Edouard, Miguel wants to show the world why he is worthy of this TV opportunity. “I know I can fight and beat the best on any given day. I'm going to bring it big time come Sunday night,” says Espino. Trainer John Bray stated, “The kid has been working hard in the gym and I'm happy that his fight will be televised. He has and exciting style that I know the fans will love”. Miguel Espino's last fight was an exciting 5th round TKO over Jonathan Reid (33-2 19 KO’s) last Oct at the Staples Center where The Contender aired its last bouts. Much in attendance said it was the fight on the night. Expect an all out war come Sunday. Tune in time is 9:30 PM EST. For more information visit: http://espn.go.com/contender/
