WBA Super Feather King Smokes Another Pug, Calls Out Pacquiao
Heavy handed WBA 130 lb Champion Edwin Valero added another notch to his belt last night as the Venezuelan crushed challenger Michael Lozado in just a single round at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo. The buzz around Valero, 21-0 (21), has reached fever pitch as no opponent has yet escaped the wrath of the 25 year old southpaw's power.
Emboldened by his 19 first round knockouts, Valero has taken to insulting the top man at super feather, Manny Pacquiao. Such talk has livened up the division and many hope that Valero can deliver on his brash promises and inject new blood in a division dominated by smaller men who have climbed the weight classes such as Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Joan Guzman and Humberto Soto.
