Israeli heavyweight Roman Greenberg will make his Madison Square Garden debut on Saturday night, facing Michael Simms of Sacramento, CA over a scheduled ten rounds on the undercard of the Sultan Ibragimov - Javier Mora headliner. Greenberg, 24-0 (17), has fought the majority of his bouts in the UK with forays into |
Monaco, Florida and Las Vegas. The 24 year old has faced journeymen over the course of his five year career and continues the trend against Simms.
However, Simms, 19-6 (13), has never been stopped in his six losses and recently went eight rounds with former world cruiserweight title challenger Louis Azille, who was coming off a three year hiatus.
It remains to be seen whether or not Simms, who has fought his entire career under 204 lb, will be able to keep his feet against the 240 lb Greenberg.
