Gotta disagree with you guys, taylor is long and winky takes alot to give, against taylor he wont be in range winky is gonna get pecked to death, taylor ud, much like winky mosley but reversed

Taylor is a dood, developing fighter, but he still lacks the knowledge and skills to beat the likes of Winky. He's being lauded for two questionable decisions against an aging Bernard Hopkins who was unwilling or unable to give the effort necessary to box hard for all twelve rounds, which is all it would have taken for him to beat this kid. Don't kid yourself.

Im not being that winky looked worse against soliman who at times looked the better man, soliman sucks bro and winky looked almost as bad I dont get your point, Taylor is naturally bigger hes got the better jab and better physical atrributes, its a better big man beating a good smaller man look familar kind of like winky mosley?

i think you're way out there on this one.....Winky is a far slicker boxer than you're giving him credit for...He's better than Taylor at boxing....It's going to be a great fight..

Sir, Id pick winky over just about anyone below this weight, but I have been around boxing and boxing is styles, I expect a close fight but with taylor ultimately outpointing winky in a ud. Hes just to long for winky, winky will eat jabs and right hand leads and not be able to counter

I hope taylor is good with south poors... despite having a longr reach if you're not used to the stance it makes all the difference with range.

It's hard to get Jabs off on a good southpaw and Wright's guard and the timing of his jab are awesome. The way Taylor can win is by imposing his size. I don't think he'll beat Wright with pure boxing

Great matchup IMO although maybe a little too much of a chess match!! Cant believe it is not on PPV when 2 far lesser bouts are on PPV previous week!!

You are absolutley right pacdog. If you will listen to Jermains jab it echoes because its so fast and powerful. Im not dissing winky, but Taylor is going to show winky why they make weight divisions. You dont go from fighting welterweights to the middleweight champ. Everyone says (oh winky is so slick and has so much expeirence), well if beating what was the the p4p champ twice does not show that your good then what will. And please no one reply he was old, because hes just as good now as he ever was.

big luke good comments but one i disagree hopkins or any other at 40 is not better than a prime one, i n over all expereince yes but youth simply makes up for too much you have seen in time and time again, a 37 year old holyfield is not a 28 year old one a 37 year old tyson is not a tewenty something one, a 35 year old jones is not a 20 something and wait.... a 39 year old mixed martial arts royce gracie is not a 28 year old, athletic sports speed power quickness are big factors in you mid to late 30's you simply cannot due what you did in your prime

I don't think the judges will let Winky sit in his shell and take the belts. Manny said the way to beat Winky was to take him out of his game and with Taylor being a good student I think that is what we will see.

If Taylor's jab is effective then Winky is gonna have to try and bring the fight in... HELLO right hand.. just what southpaws love I don't think it will matter that they arent that straight and won't land flush, they aren't being thrown from a welterweight in saying that the best Southy Taylor has faced was Raul Marquez who wasn't a big Middleweight himself.

Its a shame BHop and JT werent mates they could share training camps. Taylor could learn a lot from Hopkins on how to beat a southy.

i cannot argue that...in fact the move to Manny would be the only thing that could push me over to the Taylor side....I can't wait to see this fight...still thinking Winky is going to pull this off....
