Thread: Possible Rematch?

I hear Winky dosen't want one, what's wrong with him?
If there is going to be one, i know Taylor will win....He's growing into his prime while Winky can only grow older.

I'm pretty sure when the dollars are layed down on the table this will happen again. Would reckon Wright was speaking in a bit of a rage when he said no to a rematch. Once the dust settles it's got more than a slight chance of happening again. In saying that perhaps Wright did feel the power of taylor and doesnt fancy the job again but I would think this is more unlikely of the two ideas.

I don't think Wright could have done anything any better than he did. Taylor will only improve.

General consensus is that Hopkins got robbed...now Wright feels he got robbed...HBO is behind Taylor to the end...they did the same with Wlad & Jones until they got KO'd...what would you do if you were a fighter?

Would you fight the man that you did your best against but still did not get the decision that you thought & most fans thought you deserved?

Actually alot of people thought that Taylor won the second fight, and he did clearly.
Bernard did not win enough rounds, simple as that.

There has to be a rematch to settle this..
It's just the question if will Winky have the balls to do it.

Sorry Wacko, but that's not the general consensus. There's just as many people who thought Taylor won as those that thought Hopkins won. I think it's naive for anyone to not be able to accept either decision in both fights, because they were close, so even if you disagree, you should be able to understand that close fights can go either way, that is unless you're one of those people who thinks one fighter clearly won 8 rounds, in which case you would be biased.

Hey, I'm a wacko fan, but that's just nonsense. HBO might even be behind Taylor, but its a giant accusation to think that they paid off the judges or are even resposible for press perception. Because as far as I can tell, most boxing websites agree with the draw.

I think Hopkins won the first Taylor match because he landed harder more effective punches. Which is exactly what Taylor did against Wright.

Why would winky want a rematch??

Unles he knocks taylor out he will not win..

Why would they give the title to an old guy who is fading away slowly, of course they need the young olympian to have the title, its business....

Well, if that's the case...Taylor should of won last night.
Because it wouldn't of been a horrible decision had he won and HBO would of got what they wanted...
I'm glad it was a draw, for the undistputed championship there has to be a clear winner. Shame we never got one.

Check the polls. Most, by a decent margin, belive Winky won.

HBO poll most notably.

43% thought Winky won it. Taylor only got 26% or so.

HBO is behind Taylor to the end- and thats my friend is not nonsense. I am not saying HBO paid off judges all I going to say is that all those HBO commentators was rutting for Taylor,every punch he trow even punches Winky clearly blocked see the stats on end they would say hard punch to Winky head,Taylor is doing great job etc. Fight was very close to the end and I am not going to say oh Winky clearly won but IMO what HBO crew is doing is simple BS except LL he was ok.And on the end that proved that B-HOP got screwed big time in first fight,why not draw I give Taylor credit but he didn't impres me too much,he should not be consider #2 man P4P on anybody list.

I gave the first BHOP-Taylor fight a draw and i thought that Taylor won the second one.
And i gave a draw for Taylor-Winky too....

lol, i guess it's gonna to be close if you're fighting the very best of the division.
