    Default Quintana v Hatton?

Just watched the Julio fight, if this fight did happen, which i very much doubt, this would be a big banana skin for Hatton imo, the guy is a big guy and possibly could hurt Hatton, but what would he be like with Hatton pressing the action??

I dont know about this fight if it did come off i would be very nervous going into this.

I'd have to agree but Quintana is now the number 1 contender isn't he? And Hatton IS fighting(wasting time)with Urkal right?? Then you still have Collazo!! It starting to become a bit of a web for Ricky.

Trust me, Ricky won't be taking this fight

Most definitely. Quintana is the new Collazo at 147. I don't think anybody is gonna wanna fight this guy.

Quintana is nothing special. Hatton would knock him out very easily.

Are you serious? The only reason Collazo didn't beat Hatton was because he was a bit lazy in the middle rounds letting Hatton tie him up and land inside punches. Quintana looks like he works a lot more than Collazo. I was extremely impressed with Quintana on Sat., he made Julio who does have a ton of power, look foolish. In fact, he rocked Julio a bunch of times. If PBF is undersized at 147, the Hatton is extremely undersized. Trust me, it won't be long before Hatton gets KOed at 147. I'm not hating, but Hatton uses his grappling style to get in and bang on the inside because of his SHORT ASS ARMS. Trust me, Hatton's defense, which was thought to be decent, looked horrible. It won't be long before people figure out the key to beating Hatton. Anybody that pressures Hatton will win because if you put the pressure on Hatton that means that he has to trade because he probably sucks fighting on the run and being defense. Hatton @ 147 eventually will be knocked out. Hell PBF might suffer the same fate. These guys aren't welters.

i think that the fact that Quintana's trainer is HOF Wilfredo Gomez will keep a bunch of people (Hatton and Mayweather included) away from him for a long time, best fight for Quintana would actually be a showdown with fellow Puerto Rican Luis Collazo

I don't know about easily, but Hatton would do much better than Julio did on Saturday. Julio's arms seemed a bit too long that night once he got on the inside. Hatton would not have that particular problem, but he would have problems.

    I would pick Hatton.

Barrera i am the biggest Hatton fan, but if you think he would have an easy night with this guy i dont know what your watching, like said previoulsy i think he is a more powerful version of Collazo.

Collazo wouldnt last again with Hatton, Hatton needs to realise the Million Dollar punch isnt going to come so easy at Welterweight, and get a Plan B and C

    wtf?

How can you say Collazo wont last again with Hatton??

Im sorry but were you watching a different fight, Collazo was never hurt in that fight not once, i had him winning by a point, Hatton is not a Welterweight imo.

Horrible style match up, Hatton could fight Julio, Gatti, Corrales, maybe Demitrius Hopkins?

its an easy fight for quintana---probably a kayo victory on cuts...julio cant fight a lick but hatton is even worse. more crude and straight ahead winging punches...quintana would easy pick ricky off all nite and rip him up with that southpaw style--i actually think quintana is much better than collazo.....no way ricky gets near this fight.....hes back to beating washed up guys--up next is oktay urkal right?
