Default Kostya Tszyu and others who just didn't get shots at the GREATS

So it has been rumored for a LONG time that Oscar De la Hoya, Shane Mosely, Floyd Mayweather Jr. etc. ducked Kostya Tszyu. The power punching Russian/Australian(put that there just for you Snakey) just plain old didn't get a shot at the big boys, this got me wondering:

    1) What BIG match ups could he have made during his era?

    2) How would he do in those match ups?

    3) Would the boxing world be a better place had those fights happened?

    4) Why weren't those match ups made?

Other fighters to consider for The Kostya Tszyu award of "Most Ducked Fighter" (and the opponents they COULD have had) are:

Aaron Pryor: JC Chavez, Camacho, Duran

that's all I can think of at the time...what about your opinions

When was Hopkins ever a Super Middle Weight when he was worth fighting?

Joe would be a skeleton at Middle Weight... he just makes Super.

A Prime Kostya Tszyu would Knock Joe Calzaghe TFO... No offence... I love Joe but A prime Kostya would role over the light flurrying Calzaghe

True he would be undersized but just for argument's sake

If we're talking P4P are u telling me that a prime KT wouldnt rank higher then Calzaghe... If any of you think Calzaghe should be higher you're off your rocker

Finally I get people to reply to this post!

They didn't really "duck" him but he didn't get a chance to fight them at 160 or higher

Well thats Hopkins fault he should of moved up then shouldn't he?

The only fight I know was in the works was Hopkins Calzaghe and it was Hopkins that "ducked" that one.

Michael Moorer didn't get to fight anyone good after Holyfield beat him...he really didn't fight anyone good before then either.

Understood Fenster but the Hopkins thing goes with the topic does it not? Hopkins didn't get to fight some of his peers whether it was because he stayed at 160 or not is not the issue the issue is he didn't get to fight those guys!

    Yes fair enough

Fights that should of or could of happened then Hopkins has plenty of top fighters around his weight he could of or should of fought.

If McClellan stays at middleweight and fights Hopkins who wins you got a juggernaut of speed and power in the G-man against a well skilled slick Philly fighter who was a premier defender

    watcha thinking personal feelings aside
