    Default Any thoughts on 62?

    MINE:

Chuck just might beat Wanderlei. I was very impressed by him. I used to think he was a big fish in a small pond, bu not anymore. Chuck is a bona fide great, IMO, and could stand up with anyone in his weight class in the world. Those hands are deadly,. regardless of who he's fighting.

Diaz worked magic with those short accurate punches. I've always said on here, the shorter the punch, the faster it gets there, and he proved it. Neer had no answer with those long crap looping hooks. That's poor striking.

Griffin's boxing is magnitudes beyond where it was. He had some fast hands last night and a great guard. Bonnar wasn't aggressive enough and I didn't like where he held his jab hand. Counterpunching wasn't working. He needed to shell up, get inside, and work some uppercuts.

Good night of fights though. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I have to say I agree with you on everything you just said. I wouldn't guarantee that Chuck would beat Silva/Arona/Shogun but I damn sure wouldn't bet against him. I thought Nick looked good and to be honest I didn't think he lost his last three fights. If Griffin had used that kind of aggression and pressure on Tito he would have won. It wasn't the best card UFC has put on but they were good fights for all. On a side note did you see how proud Tito looked to have Jenna Jameson at the fight with him.

Holly Hell, that was Jenna Jameson!!! She's still f*ckn' fine!!!

    I wouldn't bet against Silva.

Chuck doesn't have deadly hands, he has a deadly "HAND" a right hand only to be precise.

He also only has a one-two punch, that no one in UFC seems to have an answer for.

Yes he's great at not being taken down, but all he's looking to do is back up and land his right hand.

Feinting, slipping, head movement, effective blocking is what you need to fight Chuck...
    ... basically FUNDAMENTALS IN BOXING.

My boy Nick Diaz has those fundamentals, but he has a boxing background to boot.

Nick was the most impressive on the whole card. A UFC fighter that makes MMA look
simple enough (as it should be by a professional) to have a game plan and stick to discipline
    and breaking down a fighter.
