His trainer is Tom Yankello same guy whos training Brock. He looks to be merely a stepping stone for williams..doesnt look like much of a challenge

If that's who Williams is fighting, that is not very impressive at all!

El Gamo what are you talking about can't you see he can beat Margarito and hes earned his shot at the best in the Welters. look at his resume.

LMFAO,yeah I was expecting someone to come out with a response like that sooner or later. People forget, that just because you beat a name does not always mean alot,Sharmba was a FADED Sharmba!

As for anyone who says anything about Margarito ducking Williams,go do some research first,Arum promised the winner of Clottey/Gutirrez a shot at Tony waaaaay before most had even heard of Williams(ie just before the Mathysse fight). Just thought I would address that before someone brought it up.

I like Williams alot, you can see the kid takes inspiration from Tony, look at their styles. He uses the jab more but he also gets clocked clean more too! He has great great belief in his chin and has sais that he won't change his style too much at all(i will keep getting caught),that will catch up to him somwhere.

El Gamo's right, title shots take time to set up (a lot longer than it takes to fill a bandwagon).

Williams is a good fighter and he will get his chance but he'll have to wait his turn like the rest.

I think "The Hammer" will be a champ some day as will Cintron, but if they were to get their shot tomorrow, their inexperience and second tier chins would keep them from the top.
