Default Is Paul Williams the next big thing.

Some people are starting to say he is the next Tommy Hearns, I don't see that yet but you never know. But he is still green and needs alot of polish.

According to a lot of people here (not me) hes the next best thing since sliced bread.

I like his aggresive style, I like that he throws punches with conviction what I don't like is that he runs his mouth a little toooo much IMO. But hey!!! if thats his confident booster and thats how he feels then who Am'I to say what he can and can't say but from a fans point of view. I don't usually root for fighters with BIG mouths.

He has a bright future and still needs to improve on his boxing skills he needs to be tought more feet movement and waist also, he stands to straight up and some one with good power will hurt him. If a 140 lber. Mithcelle was able to shake him up IMO a natural 147 lbr. would put the hurt on him.

CC CutMeMick. he has a way's to go before he is ready for prime time opponents but I heard he was chasing Margarito so maybe we can get the match soon.

No he's not until he has about 7 more fights. They are trying to hype him up like Cintron to fight Margarito so early so they can bolster Margarito with credit when he wins. Give Williams 2 more years then we'll see if Tony still wants to fight him.

He's pretty good, but his chin is right there, too open and I don't think his power is as good as some people do.

Really the only comparison to Hearns that I see is body type, they really don't fight that similarly.

He's good but his DEFENSE needs work....I don't care who you spar or whatever you do in training you can't get hit like that!

If he tightens it up he's a Champion no questions!

Looks good, but some people are jumping on his jock too much after having beaten a battered Sharmba and........

Throws leather like Tony, good jab, power, awesome reach BUT very open, needs to keep you at the end of his punches because once you get inside, you can land anything you want(saw this in the cauthen/Mathysse and even Mitchell fights),unlikely to improve his defence anytime soon as he believes no one can hurt him and keeps his hands low at times. I'd love to see him fight Cintron,I think that would be a war!

Who is they? The only hyping anyone has done is Williams and his own camp by repeatedly mentioning how he hurt Tony in sparring. I havent heard Tony's camp say anything about him being awesome....and in 2 years,Williams will most likely be fighting at 154/160.

Williams is fun & he's exciting to watch...but he aint the man...not just yet. He could be...but he's gotta do some more math before it all adds up.
