Thread: Tommy Hearns vs. Nigel Benn

Their was talk of this fight actually happening at one time an what a fight it would have been.
So who wins and why?

Well if had actually happened Benn would have had a good chance, as Hearns was past his best by the time Benn was a name... But prime for prime I think Hearns would blast him out. Both of these guys could bang like hell, and neither had great chins.. But in any other aspect Hearns is a superior fighter.. Much faster, far better jab, I don't think Benn would even be able to get warmed up if he fought the best Thommy Hearns.

Tommy Hearns destroys Benn IMO. Benn was a good fighter dont get me wrong, but even with Tommy's chin he was a MUCH more polished boxer all round then BIG Nige.

yep agree with u guys but is there a chance of him landing big bomb on hearns like barkley did to him ??

Good point. In 10 fights, i'd probly see Tommy winning 7 or 8 of them.

Good point. In 10 fights, i'd probly see Tommy winning 7 or 8 of them.
