i read that the hayemaker was gonna make an apearence at heavy. he could do quite well if he can get more used to going 12 rounds cos i cant see him getting away with knocking nearly everyone out up there like he does at cruiser.

He's too small and he's not durable enough.

Holyfield was able to jump from cruiser to heavyweight and people still thought he was too small and he was 6'3 as well. But Evander had great stamina, work ethic, and he took a good punch.....Haye doesn't

Yes......BUT the heavyweights were much smaller when Holyfield moved up too.....no 6'7+ 240-250 pound power punchers back then.

Evander was always in shape, he worked really hard in the ring, and he took a lot of punishment....he's a one of a kind warrior.

Haye is no better than Audley Harrison!

Holyfield took shots from George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Riddick Bowe......Haye couldn't take it from Carl Thompson.

ok ill justify myself a little more..

He just didn't look that quick and powerful liek everyone makes out , and seeing as he was having trouble with the quite small Italian man, i dont know how he would cope with the real big guns.

At heavy Haye will be nothing else than another Verion of Herbie Hide...great punch, but poor chin and weak stamina.

I saw him, sure he can punch, but he needs to do a lot more in order to crack fighter like Sam peter, Klitchko or even a small heavy like Chambers.

Haye would get knocked out against any big punching heavy.

I like Haye though, he puts on a show and is exciting to watch. He's like Audley Harrison should be.

Unfortuantely I fear he's got Audley's chin though
