A horrible thread for me. He should fight kessler, followed by a few money fights against namely Hopkins, Taylor and perhaps Winky.

How it really plays out is a mystery to us all, and will probably infuriate and stir up opinion something rotten!

I hope he fights several no name European bums and import a top 300 fighter from Africa or South America to mix it up.

you know what i found funny miles remember that winner of woods vs johnson 3 was supposed to get crack at calzaghe now we all know woods won why didnt warren set it up because woods is good opponent no one would of argued with that and it would of been massive fight in uk would of been good stepping stone for calzaghe instead of manfredo.. then after woods victory he could of moved on to bigger things

It would be nice to see him fight Kessler. If not, move up to fight Woods and muller him then fight Dawson and muller him too.

Im not arguing against that. You are right. We have an awful situation on our hands. Calzaghe is letting it all slip away and is showing no desire to let us know the fighter we think he can be against the best.

    Its a crying shame

He were'nt forced to beat Woods Woods is a tough fighter willing to have a war and if Joe fought him and the hand went he could'nt beat Woods with one hand no way

Hell, I'd be happy if he fought Glenn Johnson.

Kessler, or if that can't be made move on up in division.

Glen Johnson or Winky are the ones that I think would be the most entertaining.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Winkys too small. Glens past it.

Tarver just bores me now. Hopkins would't be bad.

Sure why not. I am already keen on the idea of me winning this prediction.

Don't agree at all, Winky doesn't need size to be competitive, because of his brilliant defense.
Glen's not past it at all, as a matter of fact less than a year ago Calzaghe was gonna take this
fight, and then hurt his hand and had to back out. Ok I do agree with you on Tarver. Hopkins
is 42 man, and what happens if Winky beats him? Would that change things?

4/7/07- Joe C breaks left hand in second round on Manfredo's forehead.
Joe C breaks right hand in fourth round on Manfredo's forehead.
Corner stoppage. Joe C unable to continue for the fifth.

    4/8/07- Joe C announces retirement

4/9/07- All that's viewing on Saddo boards are threads about how Manfredo still sucks, and he's the worst Ring champion ever. As well as other threads arguing whether Joe C will go down as the most underrated fighter in history, or if he was a protected Euro champ who got exposed. And of course then obligatory Frank Warren must die threads.
