second fight is good thats up there in most hw punches thrown if i remember right holyfield fights different with stick and move tactics and they fight after bell few times which is cool bowe isnt quite as sharp as first fight but its still a very good fight and you will enjoy
the 2nd fight is by far and away the worst of the 3
Yea, still a great fight though.. Was quite a triolgy. Wonder how different the rematch would have been if Bowe was just as sharp as he was for the first fight.. Certainly Holyfield seemed to make the right adjustements for the rematch, but how much of it was Bowe not preparing as hard.. Who knows. I saw an interview of Emmanuel Steward on TV some months ago and the host asked him what his proudest/greatest moment as a trainer was... And he said it was a tie between several Thomas Hearns fights, and training Holyfield for the Bowe rematch.. Just considering how badly Holyfield was beaten in the first match. It was close, but really Holyfield was beaten on the inside, outside, and outmuscled, taking quite a beating.Originally Posted by frozensolid_702
bowes defence wasnt as sharp and he seemed to lose steam in middle rounds also he was 11 pounds heavier from first fightOriginally Posted by p4pking
Watch what the crowd does to Fan Man, thats worth the price of admission alone.
