Default Azumah Nelson v Marco Antonio Barrera at featherweight

What a fight this would have been. Nelson was in my opinion a better feather than super feather and Barrera at featherweight turned into a smart boxer.

How do you think this one would turn out.

I think Nelson was way better than Barrera, and would beat him easily I'm just not sure if he would by KO or UD.

Would you care to back up that statement?

I don't see Barrera a threat past batamweight against any ATG. He isn't all that quick, and he isn't the best boxer I've ever seen. He was a good banger with alot of heart, but I don't see how people compare him to JCC in terms of being the best mexican boxer ever. I see Pacquaio giving him a hard time at any point in his career so I definitely see Nelson beating him up at any point in his career. Nelson was a better fighter.

You evaded answering my question by talking about Pac and JCC instead. Why is it that Nelson would beat Barrera? Dont bring in other fighters, what is it that distinguishes Nelson as better than Barrera?

Im just asking you to back it up thats all...

Nelson was just far to insistant and powerfull for MAB at Featherweight.

I forsee Nelson doing what Pacman did !!

MAB doesnt like constant aggression and Nelson knew how to apply himself and force his will on the other man !!

Pernell beat Azumah with fast feet but still had to be on his toes .

But thinking about it Jeff Fenech's pace and agression really gave Nelson a problem ( although he was old by then )
Still think Nelson by late KO

Both Nelson and Fenech would have beaten Barrera.

no doubt alot of people will disagree but barrera was not mentally right against pac. sure pac fought a hell of a fight and against anyone else i wouldnt be saying this but but it was heart if nothing else that kept MAB in the fight as long as he was. MAB made Pac that night although i believe if it werent MAB then it would have been someone else PAC has been nothing short of amazing since that night and he will become an ATG alongside MAB

As for Barrera vs Nelson . Barrera wins whether it be a fight or a boxing match .
