Anyone know what is behind his recent inactivity? He looked really good in 2006 but hasn't fought since last October and boxrec has nothing scheduled for him. Anyone know the deal?

You know about Allen I just don't like his body structure, too much muscle which means more mass which ties up to conditioning...
I just think if they can tone his body down a bit hed be faster especially his biceps I mean it almost looks like hes carrying 2 watermelons underneath each arm cause of the size of his arms.... Thats just my opinion....
Talented kid nonetheless just something that crossed my mind the times I've seen him.... :P
LOL yeah he is a chunk of granite no doubt. I think he is alright with muscle. ..Rock gets full extension and nothing is compromised. I have seen him some at the gym and he smooth and fast, has excellent flexibility. He is primed championship material . Both mentally and physically. He’s got B-hop , and his father watching over him pretty damn good.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
They've proven that size of muscles does not slow down a person if they are the right kind of muscles. If you work your ass off you can still have alot of muscle mass and be in good shape. Jerry Rice was 6'2 200 pounds of muscle, and was in the shape to be competitive in marathons if he had wanted long distance running sport. The reason why so many guys are 270 in the nfl and fast is because they are naturally large now so they can be 270 and have 4-6% body fat which means high muscle to body weight ratio which helps maintain their speed.

He did good work with the jab in the first but then the way he was able to put the right hand particulary the uppercut behind the left hook was awesome. Looked very natural in the way he threw the combos.
Definitely someone to look out for hope he can get in the ring sometime soon.
