Seen it happen so many times to fighters and Lacy was overcome.
Froch on the other hand is the dangerman at s middle no question and the one dishing it out fight after fight now and looks calm, controlled and vicious...agree and always have that he struts about like a primate with the lowest hands in the division and will no doubt cop an unfortunate one sooner or later but that just makes him better to watch imo and he's livening the Supermiddles because of it.
Someone said earlier that it's a 'Hell of an equalizer' having his 'upperhook'
Hamed like anyone?
He trained for longer than normal apparantley and i think it's showing to good effect.
Kessler is technically superb, throws rapid combos with a great jab but i but don't see him troubling Froch or Joe beardwise really and Calzaghe 100% beats him imo.
One thing i hope is they (promoters) give us these fights,im pretty confident theres some wicked fights coming our way in this division.
Don't agree with you much but I agree 100% here. CC.Originally Posted by Smashup
I'd like to Lacy versus Froch aswell. I don't think Froch is in Kess' league though honestly. The power makes things interesting of course, but I think Froch gets stopped. If nothing else Froch versus Calzaghe would be more interesting as Froch is just made for Kessler.
It's quite possible a Kessler-Froch fight would go the distance.Originally Posted by Memphis
If it does, i have very little doubt Kessler would win by a landslide.
Froch's only realistic chance of winning would be by KO - And that's A LOT easier said than done.
Kessler both has the tools to avoid getting caught by anything serious (as seen in numerous fights) + the chin to withstand heavy blows when needed (as seen a few times against Andrade)
I think and i'm speculating here... that as Tatevoyan took Bute 12 rounds..and Froch only 2, combined with the fact Bute is going for IBF's Berrio, that we'll have Froch put in place as No1 contender.
We could possibly be looking at potentially 2 world belt holders in the UK - how massive would that make Calzage V Froch ? jeez
