Thread: Two questions one is hypothetical.

Default Two questions one is hypothetical.

1.-I have always wonderd why back handing a fighter is illegal in boxing. I mean it is still using the glove. I have seen fighters get backhanded sometimes almost by accident or just instinctive hand throwing. And when caught, they get a warning. I always find it funny when some one lands a back hand. It's like biatch slapping a mo'fo'

    And

2.-Hypothetical question: Who would have the best biatch slap in the game today if it were permissible? What other fighters past or present can you think of who would have had a decent biatch slap?

Max Baer layed his pimp hand down in almost every fight. I think he knocked Carnera down with a back hand.

I saw Naz do it in a few fights but no one else springs to mind really. Can anyone shed some light as to why back handers are not allowed? Just curious....

Good point, but you can easily throw an elbow with a hook too. Tyson was good at that. I would imagine it would leave you too open also if your bitch slap was to miss

Those short Tyson hooks with the follow through...those were deliberate, he knew what he was doing. Just my opinion, but Tyson was a real dirty fighter, he was good for one punch after the bell per fight. The follow through is the give away with the short hooks, you dont need to follow through that much.
