And by light feet I don't mean moving like Leonard. I mean that he doesn't got stuck on his feet, and that he is able to any direction at any time. Mayweather doesn't jump around, but he still has light feet and gets in quick.

Its sad cause Hopkins is trying to be an opportunist and get a good win at Heavy at the expense of Evander Holyfield's name well Bernard is in for a rude awakening if he signs those papers, cause you know Evander dont duck or Fuk around with anyone and will come come to fight and win
How can you say Bernard is not light on his feet? Did you see the Tarver fight or the Taylor fights? He used excellent footwork and was light on his feet.
Quite easily..... Go back and watch the fight, he would put his head down and lunge with the right, clinch hold and hit... Repeat for a total of 12 rounds... I like Bhop and think he schooled Tarver but he was no Floyd or Roy out there he just took advantage of a Drained Tarver and made him pay for it..... It wasnt like B-Hop was dancing circling and pumping the jab... He lunged ahead with the right 75% of the fight

I would like to see Holyfield revenge that beating he took off Toney if i was Holyfield i would do it now while Toney is on the slide.
I disagree...Toney would beat him again.

This Holyfield comeback is opportunistic and against the right opposition. Toney would stop him again.

Where is this quoted from El Gamo I want to read the source?

@JTRock, I seriously doubt Bernard is afraid to fight James Toney. If anything that fight is made for him. A super slick boxer in poor condition who is also a blown up middleweight with no punch at the weight.

I'm really suprised Hopkins hasn't called him out and can only assume it's because he feels Toney is on the slide and is therefore damaged goods.

Trust me if Toney had beaten Peter and was in line to fight Maskaev Hopkins WOULD want to fight him

there is no doubt in my mind that evander would knock him the fuck out - but ti wont happen coz hopkins wont get in the ring with him, he is full of shit lol - first he 'wanted' oleg - thats out then he wanted to fight calzaghe to stop him beating his record, then he says about calaghe coming to LHW to meet him lol Then it was kessler now hes quiet on that. He will keep fighting hand picked fighters and sadly be loved and paid well for it.

Statements like this make you look like a complete idiot. You do realize this right? Hand picked opponents, like Taylor, Tarver, and Wright... In 3 consecutive fights... Shall I compare this with your favourite fighter and his resume of late? Who's he fighting again this weekend... I forget.

Spot on with those comments i also think people including Hopkins are looking to far in to his win over Tarver Tarver had to lose Major weight fast and looked weak Hopkins is the same fighter that lost to Taylor twice in a row but hes even older and i think Winkys gunna beat him easy and Holyfield would demolish him

go for it, my favourite fighter now and of all time is barrera...

If i am wrong plz correct me, but taylor was a mandatory? as for tarver i don't really care what anyone regarded him as, or what they thought of him - he is nothing more than a decent fighter, beating a past it RJJ means sweet FA imo and fighting wright at 170 is bull shit too! There are numerous guys at LHW and a few at SMw i would much rather see hopkins fight than another fucking 154 fighter.

You know damn well I was referring to Calzaghe... I love how you can't even think of responding to that point, about who he has been fighting and what he's accomplished. Suit yourself, I guess Hopkins just hasn't taken any dangerous fights in your mind. That must be why Calzaghe still fantasizes about fighting him and suddenly called him out at the age of 42 after he beat that decent fighter who posed no risk in Tarver. And that 154 pound fighter beat the man to dethrone Hopkins in Taylor, another person Calzaghe is desperate to fight these days. I can't imagine how you put together these views.

what planet do you live on? calzaghe called out hopkins after he beat ttio, signed a contract to fight him in the states for it to be the first fight after hopkins had beaten tito and was i think #1 pfp in the world - hes been calling him out ever since then...

I rate hopkins in the ring on his talent - out of it what he has done i detest him personally. What calzaghe has to do with this is beyond me, i was talking about hopkins and then you go on about calzaghe? if you can't defend hopkins without trying to yep about another fighter don't bother at all?

Hopkins has had numerous chances in his career that calzaghe didn't - it was hopkins who turned down the calzaghe fight after firstly agreeing a career high pay day, it was hopkins again who used money as an excuse to back out of a rematch with RJJ, it was Hopkins who opened his mouth about meeting toney at 190 only to go quiet when toney welcomed the chance.

All he has ever done is talk talk talk and used money to back his way out of everything... whenever an opertunity has come up for him to prove him self agasint a an established fighter at a weight he has backed out with the exception of Tarver, no matter how little i rate him he was the Ring champ at LHW and he batterd him - i don't think the name it self is all that great and i was some what uncertain if hopkins could do it at his age
