Default So how hard does Pacquaio really punch?

He's stopped both Morrales and Solis, but in Morrales second fight with him, and Solis both said he didn't really hurt them, and it was more accumalation, and overwhelming speed and pressure that made them lose. I'm not sure if they are just spiteful or if Pacquaio is the as big of a puncher up at 130.

Well I wouldn't rate Solis highly.

I think everyone pretty much knew Pac would KO him IMO that was a gimmie.

But he does have some some decent power in that left hand.

Then you look at at his 1st meeting with Erik & hes meeting with Larios and say (AT LEAST I DO) WTF? How is it that he didn't stop Larios?

Pacquiao was a devestating puncher at 122 and 126, he is a very good puncher at 130.

In terms of 1 punch knockout power if 10 is highest I'd give PAC an 8. He is not as devastating as Valero, Hamed or even Juarez but because of his SPEED his 8 rate power is doubled because by the time you landed a punch on him he might already have landed 2 of his Pac power punches given that you trade with him toe to toe.
So yes they are right it is an accumulation of power punches.

accumulation plus speed equals devestating power.

you can't look at every pacman fight, he does'nt fight at his highest level every fight, he seem to take it easy on lesser fighters.

i don't think you can rate anyone with pacman not hamed valero or juarez. pac is very known to be a nonstop action pack fighter but he has levels of himself.

I'd say pacman was 100% against 3rd morales fight.

90% was with jmm and mab.

80% and below are against lesser fighters, with the solis fight he was prolly below 70%.

pac only needs to be atleast 80% to beat the likes of valero hamed or juarez.

100% pacman ruins anyone a dozen power punches at a time. but out of all pacmans fight he was only prime at the third fight with morales.

pacmans oppenent better hope he never goes in against them 100%.

p4p pac knocks out anyone highest level vs highest level.

obviously, solis is just bitter because his clean record had been stained, he could have taken pac's best power if it just landed on his shoulders,on his gloves or maybe on his a**, but on his chin no no he is surely going down. pacman doesn't have the 1 punch knockout power like say foreman or tyson speaking of P4P perse but if you let his best punch land on your chin perfectly it is still enough to cut a boxer down like a tree. remember in the solis fight he[solis] was barely hit with pacs powershots because he seems to be elusive and pac even confirmed that after the late interview, he seemed to be using an awkward style and at the beginning it was working for him because pac seems to miss a lot of his powershots. until by late round 6 after the cut pac had suffered and decided to increase his pressure on solis. by the start of round 7 the powershots started to connect and by mid round 8 solis is useless already and the ref decided to stop the fight which solis humbly complied with. So really accumulation or not pac is still considered a devastating puncher, the record speaks for itself, and those guys he put to the deck are super tough warriors that possesses granite chins which is common with great mexican boxers.

So Mayweather took Corrales down eventually, and other guys, and people like Gatti would have been ko'ed by him, does that mean he can hit hard or that he is an accumalation with speed? I haven't seen Pacquaio beat a top fighter by a ko in a long time( and no the last two fights MOrrales was not a top fighter, at least not at 130). The last time I saw him take out a guy who I didn't expect him to was Barrera, and that was at 125. He didn't ko Marquez or Morrales in their first fights, and I don't think it was because Pacquaio has become so much better(he is a bit better), but that Morrales aged so obviously that he was able to dominated MOrrales the third fight, and in the second fight I had Morrales winning until he ran out of gas.

    Julius Rain,
Are these percentages according to you?
Just curious as to how you determined them.

IMO, I think Naz is more of a devastating puncher then Pac & Valero. Pac is speed + volume of punches = his KO.
Naz was more of Power = his KO. And Valero IMO has ONLY fought 1 world class opponent so you really can't compare to him to Naz & Pac who have fought better opp. then Valero at the moment.
He (Naz) did have that I've never denied it. (For those of you who are thinking about jumping on me go back through my posts and you'll see I give him that)

    Of course.

    Yeah! right
Against MAB he was as 100% as 100% could be thats why he took advantage of the issues MAB was having. Now that PAC wasn't developed yet is a different story but he was 100% for what he was at that time.
This is funny against JMM, IMO I think he was also 100% I mean he dropped JMM 3 fwocken times in 1 rd. thats as 100% as he can be. The fact that JMM caught on to his plan of attack and anihilated him for the entire reminder of the fight DOES NOT mean he wasn't 100%. He was it was just that JMM figured him out and shut him out.

70% your being generous if you pay attention to the 1st 3 rounds PAC threw his Manila Ice several times landing only 3 that I counted. He was off and Solis caught Pac several times. Pac looked awckward and out of sync in the begining. In the end the only thing that was surprising was that it took him that long to stop Solis.

Now to say that a fighter would ONLY need to be atleast 80% is absurd, you need to be well prepared and 100% at all times when your stepping in the ring. That 80% statement you made makes no sense.
You can't be serious about Valero, Valeros still too green for Pac that fight makes no sense to me this year Valero still has some road to cover IMO. All those 1 rd. fights mean nothing on World Class level.
Juarez would be overwhelmed by Pacs speed, but Pac better watch out cause Juarez hits like a ton of bricks.
Against Naz, well it would be an even fight as far as percentages cause we all know Nazs preparations
So both fighters would come in at like 70-80% prepared.

Now I know your joking, soo according to you Pac is his Prime for Morales III but came in at BELOW 70% for the Solis fight.
What kind of prime is this the Julius Rain prime sys. IMO Pac started his Prime when he beat MAB and hes going through it now.

Why do I have a feeling tha if Pac & JMM meet and Pac defeats JMM you'll say Pac came in at 100%.
And if JMM defeats Pac you'll say Pac was at less then 70%.

The great thing about PAC is that he gets to you first IMO, that's why to trade with him toe to toe is very dangerous. Well regardless whether he is the hardest puncher out there or not the record books will say that he is the only fighter who haved stopped both MAB and EM and fought JMM in his prime and dropped him thrice drawing only because of a judges mistake.
