Thread: Oscar/Floyd Predictions here!!!!

Oscar has more of a chance than u think! He has an iron chin, a mean & powerful left hook that in my opinion if it connects with Floyd's chin then it will be curtains! Expect Oscar to be the aggressor thru the first 7 rounds & I'm pretty sure that he will be looking for Floyd to try & trade with him! Also he is sparring with Mosley which INO will help out alot cuz he is learning to fight tall & nuetralize speed with a stiff jab: But can he apply it against Floyd? One thing I am sure of is that there is no way that Floyd can hurt Oscar, so that's outta the question! Floyd will try to use his speed & craftiness to win by a decision, but Floyd has never accomplished that with a top rank fighter cuz he has never fought a top opponent! So it will be a what if? for Floyd & a When if? for Oscar! I may be wrong but I'm picking Oscar by KO/TKO!!!! I believe that many will be amazed by Oscar's performance cuz I believe he wants to go out with a big bang!!!! Oscar has been in wars but Floyd has not due to the lack of fighting seroius competition!!!!

Hope youre right mate, I doubt it'll be quite that easy for him but I do give Oscar a better chance than most.

I've been saying that Oscar will take him mid to late with a classic left hook and i'm hoping ODLH can catch him early on and hurt him.
This imo will unsettle Floyd big time (he's never been hit as hard as Oscars gonna hit him).
Worst thing you can do is insult De La Hoya before a fight because your playing right into his hands.

OK...for the record.....prediction in a few short days....














fine....here goes...because it's at 154....I have to go with ODLH....I believe the weight will be just too much for PBF to over come...even one of the greatest fighters of all time SRR eventually reached a weight too big for him to overcome...

I still think Floyd by UD. ODLH may find pretty bot the most elusive fighter he ever fought and even the last drop of his gas will still not be enough to catch floyd in chicken mode.

oscar by ko or unamious decision, My only problem is how much speed oscar has lost with inactivity and age, prime for prime I think oscar takes this easily, floyd is a great fighter but... moving up in weight again.... losing more power.... has greater speed than delahoya but its going to be marginal he is NOT like shane mosley and does not simply let his hands go in rapid succession unless he senses he has hurt you than he rips of 5-6 punch combos, oscar should punch him in his kidneys everytime he turns his back

oh floyd aint getting a close decsion keep that in mind.. who really do you think they would want to win.. who has more star power, mayweather aint gonna fight oscar again if he wins, but he certainly will want a rematch if he loses, also oscar has big fight sif he wins cotto etc... mor emoney in oscar think about it fellas before plunking money on mayweather, its highly unlikley he knocks oscar out oscar has too much skill for that to happen

seriously though i see this being a quick win for DLH pride will make floyd not run at the start to see how the power and speed is before getting on his bike especially after all the flack he got for running against Baldy... thing is he wont be able to handle it.

if he runs like a girl saddo Oscar should not chase him just jab him Ive seen it to may times tio chase a guy who runs is ludicrous, if its pure running not boxing and you should lose points for it, in my mind if a guy backs up and does nothing for a round its 10-8 round the other way

You and me both and Oscar is training like a mo'fo and Mosley is a great sparring partner for him.
We've already got the ball rolling (TV in Garden,gazeebo,BBQ,DJ's eg ME, the works.)
Watched the 24/7 build up on Sky with some non fight fans girls and fellas and all of them were absolutely glued to it and are right up for staying up and watching.

PBF is acting up purely on fear-i think the realisation has started to kick in now and agree his ego will make him try and trade early on then BANG.
Left hook will take him but i'm hoping Oscar really goes to work on him and fires off 30 odd punches first
